About Me

Gonzalo, a teacher, dancer, and choreographer of Argentine tango and folklore, with an artistic background and over 30 years of experience, has danced in some of the most iconic tango venues in Buenos Aires.

He has also taught and choreographed tango companies and dancers in Argentina and internationally. Throughout his dance career, he has developed a unique style that transfers expressiveness, passion and elegance.

Education

Born in Buenos Aires, he began his tango studies in 1993 with professors Stella Maris and Juan Carlos at the Municipal Theater of Merlo.

After many years of preparation, he has dedicated himself to touring different scenarios both nationally and internationally. Artistic training with various tango teachers from Buenos Aires with a career in Argentine tango and folklore.

He has dedicated himself to touring different stages both nationally and internationally, during his career he had the opportunity to share stages with the most recognized artists from Argentina such as:

SINGERS: Argentino Ledesma, Alberto Castillo, Alberto Bianco, Fernando Soler, Abel Córdoba, Roberto Echague, Alberto Podestá, Oscar Ferrari, Guillermito Fernández and Eduardo Romero, among others.

Folklore from the south of the world – Music Lesson

I am Chilean and I am fan and player of the music of the southern cone: Chile, Argentina and Uruguay. Specifically I can help you learn tango, cueca, milonga, murga, boleros and tonadas. To a lesser extent I can help to learn Afro-Peruvian and bossa nova.

The lessons I offer can include musical practice, rhythms, progressions and typical melodies, as well as the study of the history of the musical genres and the culture associated with them.

If you want to nurture your career as a musician with other genres or if you are an amateur musician with an interest in music from the south of the world, these lessons are for you.
