In my classes I aim to transmit first of all my passion and love for music.
I like to prepare a personalized programme adapted to the level and exigencies of each pupil.
I also aim to include some violin duos, to be played with me during the lessons, as I believe playing with other musicians is one of the best ways to enjoy music and learn useful musical and technical skills at the same time.
Another essential factor in my classes is correct and natural posture while playing, to let music heal our souls instead of hurting our bodies! ;) I have been practicing Yoga for a few years, and have experienced the importance of good posture and targeted light stretching, especially for younger players in a phase of growth and change.
I like to help pupils to develop good technical skills in a fun way, always applying technique to targeted repertoire and keeping in mind that technique is nothing but a means of expressing ourselves through music.

I give lessons in English, French, Italian and Spanish.

About Me
Hello! My name is Chiara, I am a 27 years old violinist from Venezia, Italy. I started my musical studies at the age of 6, and took my first violin lesson at the age of 9. I graduated with the highest mark from Venice Music Conservatory "B. Marcello" in October 2018 at the age of 20. Since then, I have followed masterclasses with great violinists and teachers such as Dejan Bogdanovič, Amiram Ganz, Ilya Grubert, Eliot Lawson, Igor Volochine.
In September 2020 I moved to Belgium to continue my studies in Mons Royal Conservatory, in the class of professor Eliot Lawson, where graduated from a Didactic Master Programme in Violin.

Music classes are a really fulfilling experience as both teacher and pupil learn from each other and enjoy beautiful music.
In my classes I aim to transmit first of all my passion and love for music.
I like to prepare a personalized programme adapted to the level and exigencies of each pupil.

The other essential factor in my classes is correct and natural posture while playing, to let music heal our souls instead of hurting our bodies! ;) I have been practicing Yoga for a few years, and have experienced the importance of good posture and targeted light stretching, especially for younger players in a phase of growth and change.

Hello,
I am a violin teacher and violinist. Having taught the violin for 20 years and knowing in depth different instrumental techniques and different teaching methods, I can adapt my teaching to the needs, age and character of each student. In addition, my educational background combined with the unique experience and knowledge given to me by my relatively recent motherhood and my love for children and other human beings, has led me to pursue positive teaching with empathy towards the student who aims to make him happy, to love music and to acquire a solid basis for his overall development! I am also able to teach with the Suzuki method. I teach children from the age of 3 and even adults. I organize concerts for my students at least twice a year. Classes are in French, English and Greek. For more information do not hesitate to write me. Thank you.

Experienced didgeridoo player to teach how to play the instrument. I offer classes at my home or at the student's home, or in the open air if the weather is nice. I can teach you basics, advanced techniques, and structures to play well. I also have a lot of exercises to work specific muscles.

Getting to make the sound is the first step. The basic sound, the drone is not obtained only by blowing in the instrument but by squeezing the lips slightly by letting them vibrate. Then there are 3 types of breaths to master. From a type of circular breathing already the game can become richer because the sound is continuously ....

Hello to everyone!
My name is María, I am a Venezuelan Cellist.
All my musical education was inside the musical program "El Sistema" in Venezuela. This education was based on preparing myself as a better human being though playing cello in orchestras, chamber music and as soloist.
I am current studying my Master degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.
In what consist my lessons?
Cello classes for all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced), it does not matter if you have never played cello before or if you are already studying, the important thing is to help you achieve the goals you want with this beautiful instrument.
To have better results with practice, if it is necessary to help you with music theory, I will help you.
As well, if you're looking for help in orchestral excerpts for auditions, I'm here for you!
For kids, parental support is also important during some lesson, we are all a team and we need to work together to achieve the goals!
Classes can be in person at your house or mine (BRUSSELS, BELGIUM) or via videocall (Skype, Zoom, etc). The schedules are planned according to the time of the student and the teacher.

Lessons in piano, harpsichord, and historical and modern cello, with program and repertoire, adapted to the goals and speed of each student, whether young, not so young, or adult, for a general introduction to these instruments, for preparation for high music education, as a supplementary aid for exams in music academies, or for a hobby, or for amateur group music-making, or for developing qualities as concentration, coordination, discipline, expressibility, awareness of styles and music history.
In my teaching, I rely mostly on old traditional methods, books, and repertoire, which have proved their efficiency over the time. I also make use of the teaching tradition of partimenti of the old Neapolitan conservatories - exercises for composing that can be applied from early stage. This not only adds a creative element soon after very beginning, but also teaches via practice the basics of harmony and polyphony.
Lessons can be combined (+30min.) with theory/solfege (ear training), if the student wishes.
English, Nederlands, française, Deutsch.
I have been teaching for more than 15 years, privately, in Brussels, and in New York in the past, more than 100 students.
I am a graduate of Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, in baroque cello and harpsichord, but I play also modern cello, organ, and piano.

This applied music theory course is for any passionate musician, regardless of level.

It aims to broaden his musical knowledge and abilities by understanding music as a whole. The goal is to be able to decode and understand how a music (not only of classical style, but also pop, jazz, rock, electro, ...) was composed, and to be able to use interesting harmonies oneself. and solid in a personal composition / production.

It is made up of two main topics:

* Harmony (building chords, understanding chord diagrams, learning to Harmonize a given melody, the possibility or not of using these Harmonies in a given style, etc.).
But also understand the key, how to build a scale, how to navigate between different keys, how to transform a classic chord suite into another style?
Harmony is a course open to all and all levels, no prerequisites to have. Any passionate musician will find interest in it, that's guaranteed.

* Writing is a much more targeted course, which is already an introduction to classical composition. In this branch, we will develop the rules of classical writing (parallel fifths and octaves, false relations etc, ...) within the framework of an exercise based on a given melody or bass (in the first case it will be necessary to invent harmonization and compose a bass, in the second, it will be necessary to invent the harmonization and the melody).

This course can also be used by academy or conservatory students who wish to prepare for the writing exam, or simply to deepen their knowledge.

My method is based on serious and rigorous practice (while taking into account the student's ambitions) as well as learning most often by ear. This is indeed how music can be truly integrated over the long term.
I would be delighted to work with serious and determined students.

Graduated in cello in Barcelona, finishing my master in historical cello at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Passionate cellist with a lot of experience in performance and education. I specialize in historically informed music, so I try to understand the context around each music I play, so we enter into a dialogue between current events and the era in which the music was created. In my classes we will learn the basic technique of the cello but also we will look together for what we want to express with the music we make, and techniques more adapted to the era.
