I am an American/British violinist currently based in Brussels. I have my bachelor's degree studying with Joshua Fisher & Rodney Friend at the Royal Academy of Music, and I pursued further studies with Professor Yuzuko Horigome in Brussels. I have 8 years of private teaching experience and am well versed in performance having performed as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral member throughout Europe, America, & Canada. I would be happy to share my understanding of music through the violin for all students - perhaps newer to the instrument or those who would like to have some polishing notes before an audition or performance.

Students must have their own violin. Having a notebook and your own scores is also necessary.

Violinist graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I have several years of educational experiences. I propose adapted courses for all levels. I taught at the conservatory, and in music school.
The courses are divided into several parts. The first is learning the basics (for beginners), the technique of the violin, then the consolidation of the notions of music theory and finally the discovery of pieces. I work in a fun, but demanding way while listening to students. My methods vary according to the needs of the students.
I have been teaching for 10 years. I started many students who are now able to have fun playing all types of repertoire. I also accompany the more advanced levels in their artistic work. My teaching allows students to gain autonomy, while developing their musicality.

I am a graduate violinist from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with several years of teaching experience. I offer violin lessons for all levels of learning. Lessons contain several elements. The first one will focus on the basics (for beginners) of violin technic (skills, bowing exercises, tuning ...), some point on notation and musical culture . I want to work in a relaxed way, always attentive to the student's needs. I adapt my methods to each and every person.

With several years of experience in teaching the violin, my lessons are for everyone, whatever your desires. I adapt my method according to the wish as well as the age of the student, and starting an instrument as an adult should not be a brake.
Graduated in Musicology from La Sorbonne as well as from the ULB, I also offer support courses in Musical Training, History of Music and Analysis.

An instrument lesson usually lasts one hour. If necessary, I can cut the time between Violin and Musical Training / History.

After studying at the A. Steffani Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto in Italy where he obtained the highest distinction, Gabriele then completed his Master's degree in violin with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Mons with M° Eliot Lawson and Wibert Aerts. During his training, Gabriele also studied with Ilya Grubert at the Fondazione Musicale Santa Cecilia in Italy, Elina Vahala at the Hochschule Fur Musik Karlsruhe and took masterclasses with Ivry Gitlis, Stefano Pagliani, Elisabeth Perry, Igor Volochine, Vineta Sareika, Kati Sebestyén and Chouchane Sironossian. He is currently studying at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with M° Shirly Laub and M° Frédéric d'Ursel in a specialized master's degree and Agrégation at the Royal Conservatory of Mons.

In 2018, Gabriele won the audition for the Jeugd Antwerp Simphony Orchestra (ASO) and for the Nationaal Jeugd Orkest (NJO); in 2019 he won the audition for European Union Youth Orchestra (Euyo) and Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza (OTO) and is also selected in 2020 for the Young Belgian Strings as well as the Antwerp Philarmonic Orchestra. He has collaborated with several orchestras in Italy and Belgium, including the Boho Strings Orchestra in Antwerp, the Ataneres Ensemble in Louvain, the Chapelle Musicale de Tournai in Tournai, the Assai Symphonia in Hasselt, the Orchestra of Archi Italiani and the Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, Italy.

Very involved in the chamber music repertoire, Gabriele founded in 2018 with the pianist Julien Lejeune the Duo Aréthuse, in which they explore the romantic French and contemporary Italian repertoire, in search of an interpretation marked by accuracy, simplicity and of modernity. They are at the initiative of the creation in 2019 of the Hellens Ensemble, consisting of a string quartet, a piano and a lyrical singer, an ensemble with which they are interested in Belgian music and more particularly to the repertoire with voice.

Gabriele also studied at the University of Padua at the Faculty of History and Musicology.

I am currently completing my Master's degree in violin at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (KCB) and hold a State Diploma for violin teaching obtained in Paris. I have gained teaching experience by instructing violin, music theory, and chamber music in several Parisian conservatories, and more recently in music schools in Brussels.
