Piano lessons online or in real life for everyone, as well as music theory, solfeggio and harmony

Classical music is a unique way of self-expression and inner development. In addition to certain skills of playing an instrument, you also develop your memory, motor skills, synchronicity and much more.

I am a third-year student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, but also a laureat of international competitions. My musical journey began in my hometown in Kazakhstan, and then in Moscow at the Tchaikovsky Central Music School (which I graduated with a diploma of distinction). In addition to concert activities, I teach piano and music theory for everyone (beginners, professionals). I try to find a personal approach to each of my students, as this is the only way to achieve success. Hoping to help everyone who wants to discover classical music!

    About Me

Since childhood, I have been a very creative child: I was drawn to draw, dance, sing, and also play a musical instrument. I started studying piano at the age of 8, which is quite late, but fortunately it didn't stop me. From the age of 12 I started participating in music competitions and at the age of 15 I already had my first victory at an international competition in Italy (Rome). At the age of 16, I entered the Tchaikovsky Central Music School, where I continued to improve in the classes of the best teachers.
My musical experience has expanded. I was able to visit many countries with concerts: Germany, Italy, Russia, Austria. After winning the Denis Matsuev international competition "Astana piano passion", I had the opportunity to perform with symphony orchestras, and I was also able to fulfill my long-standing dream: to create my own music festival in my hometown of Astana! I had just turned 18 at the time. It was a big turnaround. But in addition to concert activities and studies, I have always been drawn to teaching. This is an integral part of my musical life!
Despite the coronavirus, in 2020 I managed to enter the Royal Conservatory in Brussels in the class of Viktor Shestopal. It opened up completely new doors of classical music for me!

    Education

Aliya studied at the Economic Lyceum of Astana, studying piano in parallel in Olga Avdeeva's class. In 2016, she entered the class of Aigerim Yessimkhanova at the Kazakh National College of Arts, where she studied for only a year, since after summer masterclasses at the Central Music School in Moscow, she was invited to study. In Moscow, Aliya studied in the class of the head of the piano department Natalia Bogdanova. In 2020, she entered the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in the class of the president of the piano department Viktor Shestopal.

    Experience / Qualifications

She has performed concerts in: Kazakhstan, Russia, Germany, Austria, Italy, Belgium, France. Fellow of the Vladimir Spivakov Charitable Foundation, participant of the Art-Line concerts.
Laureate of the international competitions "Astana piano passion", "Primavera Romana", L. Oborin competition and others.
Participant of master classes of such masters as Dmitry Bashkirov, Björn Lehmann, Ekaterina Mechetina, Andrey Pisarev, Andrey Diev, Mira Marchenko and others.

Individual lessons at my flat in Rue Breydel (Schuman). I have a long experience of teaching, as well as playing and giving lecture recitals. One of my pupils came second in the 'Grand Concours pour les Amateurs' in Paris, and others won prizes for the highest Grade 8 ABRSM. Henry Sebasthian
Piano lessons, taught by a student from the Koninklijk Conservatory Brussels
I am Henry, concert pianist, currently a student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I have had extensive experience as a soloist on stages and in concerts, as well as experience as a teacher for children and adults with very good results. The teaching method involves different learning processes in the student; - recognition of notes on the keyboard - correct positioning of hands and fingers - learning to read sheet music - learning works and resources to interpret them - basic musical, melodic and rhythmic theory.

    Laurie
Piano teacher for beginners of all ages: I bring my own electric piano to teach you!
Today, a multidisciplinary artist with a passion for teaching, I entered the Conservatory of Music very early on to learn piano and music theory: at the age of 6. For a little over a year, I have been teaching children between the ages of 4 and 6. My lessons are presented as a fun musical awakening: - know how to stand in front of a piano, - hand positioning, fingering, - learning rhythm and scales, - note recognition, - musical discovery and listening. However, I propose to accompany any beginner, whatever their age (child, teenager, adult). I mainly travel to homes, my Casio piano keyboard on my back, to offer those who do not yet have one the opportunity to try and tame the instrument.

Learn the piano in a fun and stimulating way. Learning piano in a playful and engaging way.
In French : For almost ten years, my method has strived to move away from those found at the Academy, sometimes considered austere and outdated. In my opinion, the student is the main actor in his learning, and the teacher should be his caring guide. In my opinion, his role is to provide him with appropriate help and support, and not to impose pre-established rules that do not take into account his unique needs. The image of the harsh and cold teacher should therefore be forgotten with me. My philosophy is always to encourage without imposing. The student will also have the opportunity to have access to a much broader repertoire than that imposed in classical education. Thus, he will be able to play his favorite music from all walks of life, whether it be themes from songs, plays, films, series or even video games. Of course, I also encourage classical music, as long as the student finds pleasure in it, which remains and will remain the most important for me. After all, what is music if not the purest and universal essence of our humanity, which brings together and unites our hearts and minds? In English: Over a decade of teaching, I have developed a method of teaching piano that differs from the ones found in the academic environment. For me, the student should be at the center of his learning journey. The teacher should be a guide who provides the student with tailor-made help and support, without forcing preexisting rules that don't reflect the unique needs of each student. No cold, strict or ill-tempered teaching on my watch! My philosophy goes by the following: always encourage, never impose. The student also has the opportunity to explore a much larger repertoire than the one imposed in classical education. He/She has the freedom to play any music from all backgrounds, including songs, shows, movies, series or even video games. Of course I also encourage classical music, as long as the student enjoys it, which will always be the most important part for me. After all, what is music, if not the purest and most universal essence of our humanity, the one that connects our hearts and souls?

Piano lessons given by concert pianist with four postgraduate diplomas
Being naturally very skilled in sight-reading of music scores, I've realized numerous times how helpful and enjoyable can be to posses that "gift". Now, after many years of experience in teaching at different levels and aspirations of students, I can surely say that, despite their different ambitions in playing piano, all of them were very keen in learning how to be better in reading completely new and unknown music to them. Currently, I'm developing an approach which could efficiently help one in understanding better the composition seen for the first time, through "scanning" analysis and use of logical patterns while getting to know basis of classical harmony. I'm a concert pianist with rich performing experience on worldwide stages, 1st prize winner of more then 30 international piano competitions in Europe and USA, holding Master degree, as well as two different Postgraduate degrees and two different Concert musician diplomas in special program for gifted concert artists at Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.

TEENAGERS Are you looking for a piano teacher who will encourage and support your teenager's passion for music? I offer an accelerated piano book specifically designed for this age group, allowing your child to progress quickly in their piano skills. If your child already has experience in playing the piano, I build on their existing knowledge and continue to expand their skills and creativity. I understand that every student has their own goals, whether it's playing for fun or aspiring to be a professional musician. That's why I adapt my lessons to fit your child's intentions. By offering a variety of musical pieces for them to choose from, and being open to their suggestions, I believe that playing a piece they enjoy is more effective in keeping them motivated. It's never too late to pick up a new skill, and as an adult, you have unique advantages over children when it comes to learning music. I'll also recommend a piano book specifically designed for adult learners, which will help you build up your skills at a comfortable pace.
