I’m a passionate and experienced oboist offering private lessons for students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced players. In our lessons, we’ll focus on solid technique, sound production, breathing, articulation, and phrasing, always adapted to your pace and personal goals.

We’ll also work on repertoire that suits your level and interests—whether it’s classical, orchestral excerpts, chamber music, or exam pieces. If needed, I can also help with reed-making basics and offer guidance on how to choose or adjust reeds for your playing style.

About Me

My name is Joel Gutierrez, I have been an oboist for over 15 years. I have a great passion for the oboe and a strong commitment to music education. My approach as a teacher is to guide my students in developing their technical and musical skills, and to help them reach their full potential. My goal is not only to teach technique, but also to help my students appreciate and enjoy music. Currently, I am continuing my studies abroad.

In my teaching, I rely mostly on old traditional methods, books, and repertoire, which have proved their efficiency over the time. I also make use of the teaching tradition of partimenti of the old Neapolitan conservatories - exercises for composing that can be applied from early stage. This not only adds a creative element soon after very beginning, but also teaches via practice the basics of harmony and polyphony.
Lessons can be combined (+30min.) with theory/solfege (ear training), if the student wishes.

My name is Federico and I am a professional and Award Winning saxophone player.
I worked at Koninklijk Conservatorium of Bruxelles as an Assistant Professor of Jeroen Van Herzeele the jazz saxophone professor.
I graduated at Conservatorio G.Martucci of Salerno (Italy) and had both Bachelor and Master with full marks with honors. During the course of my studies i also spent two academic years abroad , one at the Kask and Conservatorium of Ghent with the supervision of Bart Defoort and one at the Koninklijk Conservatorium of Bruxelles with John Ruocco.
In 2017 i won the "Massimo Urbani International Jazz Competition" prize that saw as head of the jury Kurt Rosenwinkel & Fabrizio Bosso.
I play in several Jazz bands and I have been performing all around Europe.
I recorded a solo album called "Right Now" with the famous Italian label "Philology Records" & the album"Supernova" with my own band. I also recorded several albums with different bands and of many styles, from jazz, funk to pop.
I toured with the famous Italian Drummer Tullio De Piscopo (Pino Daniele, Mina, Astor Piazzolla's drummer) and also had the chance to make a variety of television appearances on Italian National Television (Rai1, Rai5, Rai3).
