I have experience teaching people from 5 years old to mature age. In particular, students of music institutions and helping them in the learning process (music theory, composition, solfeggio, etc.). You will learn ergonomic techniques, and theoretical knowledge and will be prepared for any kind of exam or test.

I am open to anyone, but I prefer those who have started or are already studying and need the help of a tutor (often these are younger students, of course).

Graduated with a Master's degree in clarinet from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, a Didactic Master's degree in clarinet and a didactic master's degree in musical training at the Royal Conservatory of Mons, I propose to give you lessons at all levels of clarinet and/or musical training. Being highly skilled in sight-reading, I have often realized how valuable and enjoyable it is to possess that “gift.” After more than ten years of teaching students of different levels and aspirations, I have observed a common thread: regardless of their goals, all were eager to improve their ability to read and interpret new, unfamiliar music.

Currently, I am developing a multifaceted approach designed to help students understand a composition at first sight. This method combines specific pattern recognition and structural score-mapping, anchored in a fundamental understanding of rhythm, pitch, and harmony, together with highly effective practice and memorization strategies personalized to each student's needs and technical challenges.

For over ten years, I have been teaching students of all ages and levels. In addition to regular lessons, I offer the opportunities to perform at the yearly class concert as well as dedicated preparation for ABRSM piano examinations.

I'm a pianist with extensive performing experience on international stages and a first-prize winner of more than 30 international piano competitions across Europe and USA. I hold a Master's degree and four Postgraduate degrees (piano and chamber music) from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.

Lessons in piano, harpsichord, and historical and modern cello, with program and repertoire, adapted to the goals and speed of each student, whether young, not so young, or adult, for a general introduction to these instruments, for preparation for high music education, as a supplementary aid for exams in music academies, or for a hobby, or for amateur group music-making, or for developing qualities as concentration, coordination, discipline, expressibility, awareness of styles and music history.
In my teaching, I rely mostly on old traditional methods, books, and repertoire, which have proved their efficiency over the time. I also make use of the teaching tradition of partimenti of the old Neapolitan conservatories - exercises for composing that can be applied from early stage. This not only adds a creative element soon after very beginning, but also teaches via practice the basics of harmony and polyphony.
Lessons can be combined (+30min.) with theory/solfege (ear training), if the student wishes.

I offer classes in music composition, guitar, music theory, or all three!

I offer advanced lesson in compositions for students who are already writing would like to improve any aspects of their practice, or to revisit fundamentals and find new ways to develop material. I also have a special interest in experimentation and alternative notations so feel free to bring your wildest ideas!

For Guitar:
I work mainly with beginners / improvers, and my approach is to teach the techniques of various artists through learning songs as they were originally played. For fingerpicking this includes for example Nick Drake, Elliott Smith, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, and many more! Alongside this we will cover the basics of guitar playing, going equally into alternative tunings and extended techniques. I am very patient, and can always find the right way to explain something, so the lessons will move at the ideal pace for you.

I offer piano lessons in English, French or Italian for students of all ages and levels. Lessons focus on developing technique, musical understanding, listening skills, and artistic expression.

My teaching is grounded in the Faber Piano Adventures method and enriched with creative activities such as improvisation, four-hand duets, and simple composition exercises.
