Hello, I am Hyunshin, a Pianist from South Korea. I majored in Piano Performance and completed my Bachelor's degree in Korea and a Master's degree in Germany. And I completed my Postgraduate at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels. (More of my career can be found below.) — Those who are learning the piano for the first time, those who are children/teenagers and also adults/seniors, those who want to learn piano as a hobby. Or, those who want to major in piano or are preparing for the entrance exam, please feel free to contact me. Of course, I am also accepting inquiries for playing and accompaniment. Transverse flute classes. All ages from 7 to 107 years old! Recorder and/or piano lessons for beginners too! I was principal flute at the National Philharmonic Orchestra in Warsaw (Poland) and have over 45 years of experience teaching repertoire, solo, chamber music and orchestra. Over the years I have developed my method of Conscious Flute Playing, which has allowed me and my students to make the flute sing as we wish. Thanks to this we can learn music theory passively as we go through the pieces. There is also the opportunity to participate in student concerts in Brussels twice a year (December and June). Intensive courses before entering the conservatory, competitions etc. also available on request!

I'm a portuguese violinist and I'm doing my Master at the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels. In Portugal I started also a Master in Education and I have a lot of experience teaching because I used to do it in Portugal. I had students from 3 to 25 years old, so I'm prepared for any level! This class is for beginners who love the violin and want to learn more about it and how to play it, or for advanced students that need some help to develop their technique. Don't worry if you don't know anything about music, I can also teach the theory in a very easy way.

I have been offering piano and music theory lessons at your home or at my home (grand piano) for 5 years now with particularly diverse profiles! I am motorized. The half-hour lessons will be held at my home. I do not adopt a particular method but I rely on the needs and shortcomings specific to each person in order to weave together a path of musical and instrumental progress! I graduated with a degree in musicology and piano performance in Paris. Having been professionally trained, I acquired several educational and fun techniques to learn while having fun. Parents can participate in the early learning course, which will strengthen the bond and sharing with the child.

With all of the information available in books, magazines and online it is very hard to sort through everything and know what is the best place to start. With nobody around to walk you through the process, you spend a lot of time going in circles, making no progress at all. That definitely doesn’t make learning to play guitar very fun. If you have been playing guitar for a long time and are always searching for new tricks or tips to improve your guitar playing- they won’t help get your guitar playing to the level you want. Welcome to the music class! Here, we are gonna discover the wonders of learning an instrument. From reading note letters, implementing a proper form to sight reading a piece, we are gonna learn in our own pace. If you're just learning music now and it feels like there's a lot to understand, don't worry we're gonna start from the basics. I will help you understand music and its elements. With your dedication and my guidance, I'm positive that we will get a good result!

These lessons are for young and/or inexperienced singers. My lesson plans are tailored towards students' individual goals. For some, this may be learning and embodying an audition song for their school's upcoming theater performance, and for others voice lessons are a first step towards singing healthily in their church choir. In any case, I focus on correcting and building core skills necessary to singing one's best while encouraging and fostering creativity, accountability, and motivation. If considered for a long-term journey towards singing, I will focus particularly on classical techniques to build steady breath control, good posture, and proper vowel and consonant formation. Along with providing repertoire, if the student is ready and wants, there will be opportunities for vocal performance in the Santa Cruz area. I will encourage audio recordings in all lessons to help with future preparations. I will be assigning some homework after every lesson, likely a combination of vocalization exercises, dedicated sheet music practice, and theory homework (if needed). *My first lesson will involve getting to know the student, their goals, and some vocalization to assess vocal level. For singers with minimal/no prior foundational music theory knowledge, I may recommend time from lessons (15-30 minutes) being allocated solely towards foundational music theory learning.
