I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam).
I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.

I teach students of all ages and levels.
I have fifteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies).

In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination.

Are you a beginner?? No worries: no experience is required! 😁
I can teach you the basics to produce sounds with your saxophone: position of the embouchure (teeth, tongue, lips and vocal cords' position, an element often forgotten), fingerings, use of diafragma,...
After the first two lessons spent on the mouthpiece and neck for the sound production, we will immediately start to play some super easy duos together to practice your capacity of listening, pay attention to the other, ear training as well. I normally use the book of Peter Wastall (titled Learn as you play) as support, but it is not mandatory. There are plenty of good books btw!

Are you an intermediate / advanced student?? I am sure you can still improve in all the basics, but on a different level. I'll teach you the importance of the "voicing" (technique named by the american saxophonist and pedagogue Donald Sinta) to improve your sound production and projection as well as the capacity of correcting and improving the intonation. You can learn all about phrasing and music interpretation, from tonal music until contemporary atonal compositions. And still, you can improve your playing together, practicing in duo on different aspects like tuning, balance, interpretation, performance etc.

Hello, I am a passionate young musician, multi-instrumentalist but trained trumpeter, I have been exploring the many facets of musical expression for 15 years.
The musical openness, the technical background and the experiences of multiple styles allow me to adapt my teaching to the needs and wishes of the student, and lead me to offer an accompanied teaching on guitar, piano or percussion. On this support a work of improvisation and musical listening is also offered.

After my CEM course at the Bayonne Regional Conservatory and one year of private teaching, I have the educational tools necessary for effective technical education.

Whether you want to play just for fun or to become a professional pianist I can give you a personalised course. At the beginning of the course, I will evaluate your level and give you recommendations of what we can work on. There are two main types of courses:

- a hobbyist course: it won’t be time consuming. I will help you learn new pieces and a little theory and solfege. The primary goal of this course is to make you enjoy playing in your spare time without having to practice too much.
