Comprehensive, Fun and Professional English Lessons
From 43.28 C$ /h
I'm an English grad who's gone on to specialize in many forms of technical and creative writing. I've worked with migrants in integration, children in poetry and creative writing, and postgraduates in composing that critical thesis. I'm therefore confident I can help you take your English to the next step.
Happy to meet up to discuss where you'd like to go. If it's an extended lesson plan or a package, that's also negotiable (we can discuss when you've decided to engage with the class).

Extra information
Have a thought about what's missing with your English, jot down a couple of bullet points and we can work through a lesson plan together.

About Me
I'm an all-around adaptable sort of fellow who's recently moved to Brussels to pursue work in EU insttitutions - hence picking up some lessons whilst figuring out the system here. I'm an American (but don't let this fool you, I'm a nice guy - really), who's lived in London for the past dozen years or so prior to moving to Brussels (via a year in France).
I'm a fun-loving, friendly guy who's lucky enough to have married the most forgiving French woman alive, have a super-cool son who's growing like a reed, and have somehow been allowed the room to continue to grow, to think and to learn. It's rare enough at any age; to be able to do it at mine is truly spectacular. On that note, now trying desperately to put together enough funding for doctoral research (accepted in England) in asylum legislation and legal aid funding. I''ve also an urgent need for another motorbike.

Experience / Qualifications
When it comes to knowing the English language - you name it, I've done it. Happy to edit mercilessly, note-take, compose, teach, listen and create an entire syllabus.
Worked in America teaching underprlvileged, inner-city kids to create poetry that was often better than mine, as well as adjunct faculty at the University of Nevada, wherein I worked as writing proctor to the English department. Worked two years with charities in Britain helping asylum-seeking individuals learn how to navigate Britain's opaque (and oft-unforgiving) asylum (and education) systems. Years of work in various public institutions, drafting briefs, reports, dry legislation on numerous subjects. I've been a counsellor for individuals with protracted mental health issues. This is the tip of the iceberg.
