Susan is a multi-faceted musician with talents as pianist, organist, vocalist, choral director, educator, composer, and sacred musician. Susan holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Organ Performance with an emphasis in Choral Conducting from Pacific Lutheran University (USA) and a Master of Music degree in Music History and Literature from Western Washington University (USA). In addition to the degrees in classical music, Susan is trained in the application of Cross-Cultural Music and Healing through the Open Ear Center and is a certified Music Together® teacher.

The way I teach actually depends entirely on the student. The way I explain the concepts, plan and structure the lessons and approach each subject all depends on whether the student is a beginner, intermediate or advanced, and whether he or she has some experience on the subject.

My name is Mar and I am a 26-year-old professional pianist (with pedagogical training) graduated from the master degree in Classical Piano Performance as soloist at the Utrecht Conservatory, now studying a second master in Piano Performance in Rotterdam, Codarts.
I have been working for 12 years as a piano and music teacher (I started very very young, when I was 14 years old, because I always liked teaching): I have experience in private lessons and official state music schools, with children from 2 years and adults of all levels, both individually and in groups. I have taught piano, music and movement for children, music theory, solfeggio and choir.

I finished my bachelor studies with the highest marks, I have experience as a concert performer and have won many international prizes in competitions as well as scholarships prizes.

From the age of thirteen, I started assisting my teacher and was already teaching younger students, from children as young as 3 to teenagers. As a result, I have built up extensive experience in teaching various ages and levels.
