The flute is a very delicate and "light" instrument but is much more than that! With this lessons I want to share my knowledge about this amazing instrument. I will adapt myself to the level of the different students and will also adjust my way of teaching. We can work on sound, embochure, posture, music theory, studies and for sure melodies and even duets! I have experience in different styles such as barroque music, classical, romantique, comtemporary, chôrinho, etc... (we can choose what fits you better, or maybe do them all!). I also play the piccolo, wich would be a nice "candy" for you to try on, if you dont play it already. The main goal after all, is that you are comfortable and excited to explore and learn new things while having fun!

- Description of the French lesson: During this type of tutoring we work purposefully: you choose one theme in advance that you want help with. It can be a grammatical element, a specific skill that you want to practice, learn to summarize, logical reasoning, etc. You bring all your material that you already have (school / self-study) and you come to class prepared and with concrete questions . Each tutoring session requires at least half an hour of homework if multiple sessions are used. - Not sure where your gaps are? Then you can choose to follow the first two tutoring hours as "intake - French". We will then look together at what your skills are and how extensive your knowledge is in terms of grammar and vocabulary. I then make a report and propose a tailor-made tutoring package without obligation. Availabilities may vary. Please plan well in advance and coordinate with the teacher.

I have a Master in Financial Management followed by the Specific Teacher Training Program in Economics. After almost ten years of practical experience in both the private and public sector, I switched to (higher) education in 2019. I have been working at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences for two years now, where I teach several courses within the field of accounting and tax (Professional Bachelor Accountancy-Taxation and Graduate Accounting Administration). I am also coordinator of the Graduate Accounting Administration. The combination of both practical and didactic experience is considered by students to be a huge advantage. So-called theory is easier to remember on the basis of concrete examples. And that is precisely what I have a lot of. On the basis of exercises and practical cases I try to sketch the whole as clearly as possible for the student. Moreover, I now have a lot of extra exercises and cases at my disposal due to my current position as lecturer within accounting and tax. In addition to handbooks and other extra teaching materials, I can also offer the student a guideline on the basis of powerpoint slides in which the "theory" is briefly and clearly summarized.

Have you always wanted to close the book? Tried to improvise intuitively? Take the challenge with yourself, you will see how fast you can take the first steps to improvisation! Other styles such as Irish, Country / Bluegrass, Pop are also included in the lessons. Most (classically trained) violinists have no experience in improvising. This method is very accessible and will quickly familiarize you with this.

I give violin lessons according to the mother tongue method of Shinichi Suzuki. Children from 4 years old can start playing the violin, with the parents' cooperation => mum or dad learns to play the violin so that they can help their child at home. Of course, older children and adults can also learn violin!

These lessons will help high school students better understand chemistry. This can be for preparations for exams, helping with holiday tasks. Furthermore, chemistry has always been a passion of mine. I have always found it fun to help students and teach them something they might have less time for at school or it was not clear.
