Do you want to learn to play music at your own pace and in a relaxed atmosphere? Without compulsory theory lessons, without pressure, stress or exams? Are you busy with school, or with other hobbies? Or can the music school not be combined with a job, and do you prefer the personal approach to private lessons? Then you can come to me for a daily lesson package that we can adjust to your personal expectations and ambition. That can be weekly, biweekly ... with or without theory. You can come to me both during the day and in the evening, a fixed day is not necessary either. Arabic Lute or Ud plays a very prominent role in Arabic music: people call him the 'sultan' of the Arabic instruments. In these lessons we will approach the traditional instrumental repertoire with original point of view, Egyptian school, Iraqis school and Moroccan school, analyzing ornaments and elements of virtuosity. I have many experiences teaching young children, adolescents and adults, your lessons are completely tailor-made to your needs.

Music theory, solfège, ear training, sight-reading. These are important skills for every musician. Not only performing musicians, but also those who want to progress in music analysis or composition can come to me. From basic exercises for clapping rhythms to advanced lessons in alto clef, tenor clef, and soprano clef, I work according to your level. Not only this, but I can also teach the basics of harmony and analysis. Depending on your level and expectations, you will not need to study for up to an hour a day outside of my lessons. What is important is that I provide lessons that are engaging for you. If you say that you want to learn more about Eastern music culture, or a specific style, I can cater to that. Perfect for people who want to keep up at music school, prepare for the conservatory, dip their toes into the music world at a young age, or adults who want to sharpen or organize their music theory knowledge online. Whether you play an instrument or not, music theory can continue to inspire people. I pay extra attention to people with performance anxiety, stage fright, concentration problems (such as ADHD), autism, and stress-related issues. I can also take into account if, for example, you do not always have time to practice or cannot attend class every week due to work or hobbies.

Lessons are always in blocks of 2 hours. In my lessons I find understanding the material very important. I try to explain the material to you so that you understand it and can apply it correctly. I do this by first looking at the theory and then doing exercises together.

The Breath, it's the basis of everything we do, the source of life and the start of singing. I believe in a genre neutral method of breathing as a base of speaking and singing. No jazz, pop, musical or classical 'technique' but a natural method which taps into the natural strength of the body, which results in a huge window of opportunities. One can sing however, whichever and whenever one wants, unbound by genre defining methods and techniques. I strive for a utilisation of the whole of the body, just to produce sounds, which makes you more versatile with different genres and which results in a more durable voice.

I believe that language is a powerful tool today. Not only does it help us understand the world from a different perspective, but it also teaches us the culture of the people who use it. I have had the opportunity to work with teenagers for 5 years now as a student associate in a science center, as a mentor and a lecturer in a different field. What I have learned from that experience is that first and foremost one must become a friend with their student, to understand their needs and their attitudes. I will do my best to make the classes fun by combining a audio and visual material in my teaching. I am a native speaker of Serbo-Croatian language, my field of study is Social and Cultural Anthropology.
