About Me

I play music since the age of 7. I was always curious about traditional music from all over the world and I travelled for more than 6 years to take lessons, visit villages, do workshops, learn about language and culture and listen to the masters at their own place.

I studied at the Conservatory of Toledo (Spain) and Centro de Arte y Flamenco de Sevilla (Spain). I studied one year in India at the Shilpayan Gurukul. I took workshops with Nelly Andreeva (Bulgarian Voices) and sang two years in a Greek polyphonic choir. Nowadays I continue my studies of hindustani classical music under the guidance of Pandit Devashish Dey.

I'm a singer-songwriter with my own musical output. I've been working professionally under the name Nia Dahl for five years. I particularly work with music as medicine and a tool for self-healing.

I have a professional degree and I am currently studying higher education in Granada.

Violoncello lessons for beginners, intermediate or advanced students, all ages (children to adults).
My lessons are focused on meeting the objectives that the student wants. From working on musicality, developing intuition and musical ear, increasing instrumental technique to preparing entrance exams for the Conservatory.
I enjoy the process of transformation and individual evolution of each one of my students, observing, thinking and understanding what we really want to find playing the cello.

I believe that it is very important to know how to optimize study time and learn resources and tools to study well and thus allow the student to have good results based on enjoyment and motivation. It is not about studying hard but about studying well.

Ángela García:
was born in Palencia(Spain), she begins her studies at the conservatory there where she performs the elementary and professional degree. Later, from 2015 to 2019, the bachelor degree (violoncello) at the CSMA (Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón) with teachers Beatriz Blanco, David Apellaniz and Laia Puig. In addition, she was also student of Raúl Mirás, Jorge Fanjul and the Quiroga Quartet.
The next two years, she studied the Masters of Interpretation in Utrecht (Netherlands) with Timora Rosler.
After that, she studied an interpretation and investigation masters in the Conservatory of Alicante with the cellist Francisco Pastor.
