I'm a Russian language tutor with an experience in teaching Russian as a foreign for more than 10 years. Deeply in love with Russian language and literature.

I've worked as a Russian Language teacher at Belarusian State University, language courses and individually.
With my students I practice individual approach based on the conversational method of teaching. I’m trying to design my lessons in order to make them interesting and effective to each particular student. I can teach you Russian from the very beginning!

Lessons are planned taking into account the students' specific interests and language level as decisive factors. It usually takes three lessons to test different methods and find out which one suits you best. Before COVID, bookings were only for face-to-face lessons. Because of the COVID pandemic, I have also organized online courses, which have been well received by several students. Whether online or offline, the lessons are particularly interesting for those who want to learn Russian culture, history and geography in addition to the language.

When I notice mistakes, I make sure that they are corrected immediately or as quickly as possible. If you want to master specific areas of the language, such as colloquial language, I can definitely help you.

Specific vocabulary I cover: Business, Law, Medicine, Military, Music, Chess, Shipbuilding, Seafaring, Security, Swear Words.
If you are interested in studying history, this is a great way to not only improve your language skills but also deepen your historical knowledge.

I offer detailed explanations on grammatical topics.

thank you for checking out my course.

This class is open to students of all levels. Whether you are only starting to learn the wild-looking letters of the Cyrillic alphabet, or whether you are looking to practise your written and spoken Russian, I would be delighted to accompany you at any stage of your Russian-learning journey. For more advanced students, I would be happy to help you get to know one of the most defining aspects of the Russian language, namely its novels and poetry, which would be a great way to learn about the 'mysterious' Russian soul.

I believe that studying in three different countries have allowed me to try out and assess various approaches to education in general and teaching languages in particular - from the rigourous Russian system based on ensuring that the students will obtain exceptional spelling, grammar, syntax and punctuation skills, to the more relaxed yet more critical and analytical Western approach, focused on problem-solving and independent work.

You will get the benefit of a vast bank of techniques, methods and learning materials that I have developed and accumulated over the past year will be used in class to pique and maintain your interest. And since I was once a language student too, I would be able to share my personal tips and tricks with you to help you reach whatever goal you have set for yourself - be it being able to wow your friends and family by reciting a poem in the language of Dostoyevski, or impressing your future collegues with the thorough knowledge of Russian current affairs in their mother tongue!

"Where did you learn that?" and "How can you know such a phrase?", - this questions you will hear from your russian speaking acquaitances soon after my lessons. And you'll answer them easily in russian.

Do you have a russian girlfriend and want to surprise her? Are you interested in exotic languages? Or maybe you like wonderful Soviet comedies?
Whatever the reason, I am here to help. I am a native russian speaker, but to tell you the truth, it is not enough, as Russian is quite a complicated language. Moreover, I am a linguist, a certified teacher and just a person, who always had perfect marks in the subject. It was always easy for me to understand the rules of russian grammar and to help my classmates, who sometimes struggled.
And you can be sure, that I'll be able to help you.
With me you'll understand and like the Russian language from the first lessons and soon will be able to speak better and better.

I offer tutoring lessons in Russian, mainly for beginners. I am open and would like to adapt to each student individually. I am looking forward to a pleasant learning atmosphere and, above all, to the enthusiasm of the student while learning.

I have no official qualifications as a teacher.
But I know the basics of the language and I speak it more or less fluently
- Russian lessons since the first grade at my school
- two longer trips to Russia
and
- my Russian-speaking friend.
