About Me

Hello, my name is Elmar and I come from Berlin. I am a language enthusiast and I love passing on my knowledge. I attach great importance to an individual and creative design of the learning process, both in terms of content and interpersonal relationships. I'm a Russian language tutor with an experience in teaching Russian as a foreign for more than 10 years. Deeply in love with Russian language and literature.

Since I decided to follow my passion in languages & people, which in turn led me on this incredible
journey of teaching English as a foreign language, I have never looked back.

As a young man I moved abroad with my family which put me in sometimes difficult situations until I

My academic and professional journey included leading research projects on coral and mollusk population dynamics in Thailand and investigating cetacean behavior in Namibia.

As a Research Project Leader at the University of Glasgow, I supervised a six-week research project on Drupella population dynamics in Thailand, mentoring a team of students and providing training in data analysis, fostering critical thinking, and encouraging teamwork.
