Individual and from home: online violin lessons for young and old
From 56.58 C$ /h
As a qualified (Waldorf) teacher and professionally experienced violinist for decades, I offer online violin lessons - whether young or old, starting from scratch or already experienced in music, everyone is welcome!
I am a musician and dancer with full passion; for me, artistic communication is always based on a holistic understanding of people.
So it is my greatest need to make the violin lesson really suitable for you.
The switch from presence to online was initially very painful (since Corona); For me, as well as for my students - thankfully, however, we make the experience that even there something wonderful is possible!
Online also offers some advantages - try it out for yourself!
I am very happy to hear from you, then we can get to know each other without obligation and arrange a trial lesson.
Aurelia.

My favorite way to teach is the Suzuki Method.
If you have other wishes, please let us know! As I said, it should be about you, i.e. the student!

About Me
"Music is dance, and wow, when dance becomes music."
I am a passionate artist and an educator from the bottom of my heart. As in everything in life, the holistic approach is paramount to me.
Intensive private and professional experience in Waldorf education shape my work as a teacher.
Music and dance (and the connection between them) are my focal points: while playing the violin, training the awareness of the body, its posture and movements at the same time is very meaningful, helpful and healing. Too often musicians usually complain of physical pain - I would like to counteract this as early and holistically as possible!
Grounding - embodiment - alignment - release, are essential keywords in the game between violin, music and body.
Since I grew up violinist with it myself, I design the lessons according to the Suzuki method - simply for three convincing reasons:
- Imitation plays a fundamental role in this method! (As is also the case in natural child development, by the way!)
- Eye vs. ear = mind vs. intuition. The Suzuki method explicitly works a lot with the hearing, which for me is synonymous with training our intuition instead of our analytical mind. The balance between these poles seems to me to be more essential now than ever!
- There are few "dry" exercises, instead the student learns as much as possible along pleasurable pieces of music, according to the motto: The music itself is the greatest teacher!
I would like to work together WITH the student (instead of FOR), so it is essential that all parties involved practice open communication and that we all experience each other as equal and on an equal footing, that is very important to me!
As I said, not only music is a dance, so is learning and teaching - a constant movement and being moved, a constant give and take.
I look forward to our meeting;
And our musical dances together :)
