Watercolor is a fascinating technique, but it can be demanding and often feels unpredictable. In these in-studio classes, we will approach watercolor as a relationship between water, pigment, and paper. You will learn to predict and control the medium—and, once you've mastered that, to use it more spontaneously.

I teach a solid, step-by-step method to build a watercolor painting from the ground up. We will explore a range of techniques (working on dry paper, on wet paper, glazing (velatura), creating textures, etc.) as well as brushstroke fundamentals. Along the way, I'll share practical suggestions and tips I've gathered from my own teachers and years of practice.

The class focuses on the technical aspects of watercolor: controlling the medium and consciously achieving the desired figuration. It is through this deep, hands-on knowledge that a more expressive dimension of the practice can naturally emerge.

We will cover key topics such as values, temperature (warm-cold contrast), and color theory.

This class is open to both beginners and advanced painters who wish to refine their technique. A basic foundation in drawing is highly recommended for the initial sketch. Each lesson includes all necessary supply materials.

About Me

I think that learning the basic technical tools is fundamental in order to fully and freely express our own creativity. I adapt my methods to the needs of every single student and the aim they want to reach. Drawing and painting can be useful also for who already work in the visual field, but in different way, like graphic designer. I make sure that every class give to the student some solid tools and new knowledge.

I studied painting (all the main traditional techinques: watercolor, oil etc.) and life drawing in the art school, and beside attended some courses of graphic design and photoshop.

Are you willing to learn drawing or painting? Do you wish to improve what you already know?

I graduated from an art school where I learned all the important classical techniques of drawing, painting and sculpture. I would like to pass on the knowledge I have acquired through my studies and practice and give those who so wish the opportunity to go on a journey into the world of art and improve their language and technique.
The lessons are open to all levels.

The techniques covered range from drawing with pencil, charcoal and pastel chalk to all painting styles (watercolor, oil, acrylic, tempera). You have the opportunity to experiment on different types of paper (with different weights and colors) and canvases.

The topics change from lesson to lesson and can range from the human body to the landscape to the wildlife, depending on your preferences and desires.

Particular attention is paid to the method so that the finished work is clean, pleasant and as expressive as possible.

I offer drawing, painting, and 3-dimensional sculpture courses and opportunities for students to explore the different mediums and create an impressive portfolio. I will prepare students to develop their interest in three-dimensional work. Students will be creating work with Cray and 3-dimensional materials. The course will begin withdrawing lessons, model building, and work in clay. Later students will experience mixed media sculptures with other materials. I can help students who wish to create an impressive portfolio for their university preparation. I have fine arts degree from Chicago and works as a studio artist and art teacher.

- Is drawing an attempt to capture reality or is it a tool to comment on it?

The lessons are an invitation for beginners and advanced learners to try out various practical techniques and discuss the results.

When it comes to drawing, one of the biggest obstacles is letting go of self-criticism and just starting and working. We will deal precisely with this difficulty. We will learn through extraordinary exercises how to simply train the hands and at the same time suspend the critical mind.

Later, we will focus on observing the drawings and try to understand the mystery of what works and what doesn't.

I have studied Lecoq Technique(Pantomime, Tragedy, Drama, Mask Theater, Clown) and Decroux (Mime Corporel). These are physical theater approaches. I’m a DJ and music production instructor with 15 years of experience, founder and instructor at DJ School Berlin. I also run my own label and organize events.

For two decades, painting has been my steadfast anchor, guiding me through life's ups and downs, and in many ways - saved me in this life.
I feel that the act of painting is a form of meditation - and in my hardest days - Painting has become a tranquil oasis of calm.

In the past 10 years specifically, I've immersed myself in daily painting with oils, and mastering the Alla prima technique (wet on wet technic = one painting in one sitting), however, I have also dabbled in layering and glazing for a while.

I firmly believe that with the right time, space, and personalized instruction, anyone can paint. Whilst oil painting has being rumoured to be very messy (And it can be extremely messy) I have built a clean painting structure, as I am also living with a cleaning freak (the love of my life), a 3 year old child and a boxer dog.

That's why I offer 1-1 tutoring sessions at my place, in a patient, friendly, and instructive environment filled with good vibes and good music (probably the most important ingredient!).

Drawing is a natural skill for everyone; but if you are looking for a more artistic approach for this practice, you can count on me! During my classes you will learn techniques to upgrade your level of drawing to have a more naturalistic way of representation. I will teach you how to observe shapes and tones, to loose your hand, to improve the quality of your strokes, and I will focus in anatomical drawing by teaching you the easiest way to get the right proportions and being able to draw a person with or without a model. But you can also bring your own interests! We will use pencil, pen, and charcoal.
I currently study a Master in New Media Design in Berlin, and I studied my bachelor in the most important school of arts in Mexico. In this course you will learn how to use wool to create your own felt fabric. Using the wet and needle felting processes you will be able to create a variety of 2D to 3D artworks and crafts. Conversation + is a new conversation based format that combines grammar, syntax, understanding vocabulary and expressions as well as the practice of correct pronunciation and intonation with the reading of a text of your choosing. On the basis of a selected text the conversation evolves around the topics at hand; parallel to this, we discuss anything language-related that comes up. Any question, any problem can be addressed. In this way, linguistic issues can be explored in greater depth, based on your specific field(s) of interest.
