My name is Marta and I come from Spain.
I trained in Spain (in Seville and Madrid) and since last year I have continued my training at the Hochschule für Musik Basel, where I am studying a Master's degree in viola.
Throughout my life I have had many experiences with different national and international orchestras, as well as performing concerts with chamber groups in Spain and Switzerland. Music is a part of my life I used to play tanbour for more than 15 years and also I play, Tar, Setar, Shurangiz, among which Tanbour is my main instrument. Tanbour is a 6000 year old musical instrument from Iran, Kurdistan. I teach this instrument online and in person but due to the pandemic most of my classes are held online. We can enjoy playing with together.
