I'm Cristian, a professional musician and guitar and ukulele teacher with over 18 years of experience teaching in public and private music schools, conservatories, and community centers in Barcelona. I hold a Higher Diploma in Guitar, Jazz, and Modern Music from ESMUC.

I have worked in centers such as the Taller de Músics, the Escola Municipal de Música de Tiana or ESART, and I combine teaching with an active artistic career: I currently play in the musical Germans de Sang at the Teatre Condal in Barcelona, and I have been an orchestra guitarist on P&O cruise ships for three seasons.

I'm Cristian, a professional musician and guitar and ukulele teacher with over 18 years of teaching experience.

I hold a Superior Degree in Guitar, Jazz and Modern Music from ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya). I combine teaching with an active artistic career: I'm currently performing in the musical Germans de Sang at the Teatre Condal in Barcelona.

Experience / Qualifications

My training as a jazz and modern music performer was shaped at L'AULA del Conservatori del Liceu and ESMUC, where I obtained my Superior Degree in Guitar.

I have worked as a teacher at institutions such as Taller de Músics, Escola Municipal de Música de Tiana, ESART, American Lake Music and Escola Pública Els Pinetons, among others. I currently teach at the Centres Cívics Sagrada Família and Les Tovalloles in Barcelona.

As a performer, I have played at venues including Jamboree Jazz Club, MNAC, L'Auditori (with the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra), Palau Reial de Pedralbes and Sant Pau Recinte Modernista. In 2026 I am part of the cast of the musical Germans de Sang at the Teatre Condal in Barcelona.

From 2023 to 2025 I worked as an orchestra guitarist on P&O cruise ships Britannia, Azura and Aurora.

In 2015 I released the album A Strings Affair, which received strong reviews both nationally (Jazz Butlletí AMJM) and internationally, including airplay on a Canadian jazz radio station in Winnipeg. That same year I performed in the musical RENT at the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona.

I am the founder and director of Fantasía Quintet, a guitar and string quartet ensemble performing film soundtrack arrangements, with tours across Barcelona's civic centres and concerts with Fever Candlelight Concerts.

I create musical arrangements for companies such as Fever (Candlelight Concerts) and artists like Alice Wonder, as well as for groups such as the Quinteto Sommeliers.

In 2013 I contributed to the soundtrack of the documentary Dani Jarque, l'Etern Capità.

I am also the author of the didactic book 10 Canciones Fáciles para Guitarra Eléctrica, available on Amazon, aimed at students aged 6 to 14.
