Piano lessons in Jazz, Classical, or Modern styles; depending on the student's interest, we can mix a bit of everything or delve deep into one style.

Main focus applied to overcome the problem of piano: mastering two-handed rhythm. To achieve this, I teach left-hand grooves and foundations while working on improvisation, harmony, melodies, accompaniments, and everything there is to play with the right hand. I introduce piano techniques such as walking bass, tenths, stride, drop 2, and more.

From my experience, rhythm, "Groove", and the connection with the music in the moment it is being played are the most challenging aspects to learn and integrate. Thus, I give significant emphasis to these topics in my sessions, especially those aimed at playing polyrhythmic instruments such as the piano.

I cover compositional tools, approaching Jazz Standards, accompaniment techniques, improvisation methods for any instrument, Blues tools, methods to strengthen the relationship with the instrument, analysis, and listening skills. I also teach classical piano for those interested, and offer specific training in rhythm and percussion.

About Me

I offer my lessons with complete sincerity and seriousness. I have good experience in teaching the art and craft of music (+12yrs). I started by giving drum and percussion lessons, and although I still do that, I am currently more focused on the piano and Jazz composition. Within Jazz, I am interested in the languages of Bebop and Modalism. My influences in this field include Evans, Powell, Monk, Parker, Rollins, Shorter, Davis, Coltrane, Hancock, Montgomery, among many, many others. In the realm of classical music, I am passionate about the works of Bach, Scarlatti, Debussy, Chopin, Bartók, among many, many others. But above all, I am a fanatic of Beethoven both musically and personally. Music is infinite from the perspective of a human life.

I aim to progress gradually but work daily, integrating the musical knowledge that transforms the ear as well as the brain itself. I have my own hierarchy of knowledge, built over years of studying and teaching music. I see my work as a sort of guide; a way to show how to do things right, so that my students can eventually do it themselves.

I offer instrument classes (Jazz techniques and classical piano), jazz harmony theory, musical language, and auditory perception. Analysis, improvisation techniques, and body awareness methods are also part of the curriculum. I work through singing. Intensive courses and preparation for entrance exams to higher institutes are available. I also offer specific training in rhythm and percussion.

Lessons are taken to the full advantage and start punctually. I offer discounts for students who attend once a week.

+15 yr experience giving music lessons. My first instrument was the drums, so I gave a lot of drum lessons before turning to piano and composing, and pay special attention to two-part rhythm studies for piano, the real challenge of this instrument.

After years of studying and practicing, I've come to the conclusion that the best way to learn music is by transcribing and singing. Music is like language, so I start by teaching how to connect the voice with the instrument. In a playful way, I will introduce you to harmony, teach you how to read music, compose your own tunes, and improvise. Side by side with theory according to your musical taste and preferences.

I've been learning music since I was 3 years old and recently I've graduated with a Master's Degree at the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam. Previously, I studied at ESMUC (Barcelona), Kunst Uni Graz (Graz), and Temple University (Philadelphia). I am a graduate of the Royal College of Music in London, where I lived for 12 years. As well as my private lessons, I currently teach at Conservatoire of Barcelona to advanced pupils and at the British College of Gava to beginners pupils.

Individual lessons enables me to tailor and adapt my teaching to every pupil's needs; helping them to learn the repertoire or skills that each individual requires. I cover styles such as classical, pop, jazz and contemporary and I am also happy with pupils who don't necessarily want to learn how to read music (solfege).

A young clarinetist and teacher, he graduated in Higher Education with a specialization in clarinet performance from the Conservatori Superior del Liceu, with Isaac Rodríguez as his teacher, and completed the first year of the Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education. In the pedagogical field, I have been teaching clarinet and musical language classes for 8 years.
My specialty is the clarinet, but I offer lessons in harmony, composition, musical analysis, musical language (solfeggio), piano and guitar.
In these years I have learned with students of all ages, from the youngest years to older adults, both in private classes and in music schools, and the result for everyone (including me) has been enjoyment and learning. Hello everyone, I give private lessons in saxophone, music theory, composition, improvisation and piano rudiments.

My name is Beatrice, I am from Italy and I am 26 years old. I tell you a little about myself.
I trained as a classical musician at the Music School of Fiesole, Florence, on saxophone and piano. After a two-year experience at the CAM School of Music in Florence, in 2015 I moved to Valencia to carry out an Intensive Intermediate Jazz Workshop in the Sedajazz musicians' collective with the teachers Alexey León and Jesús Santandreu. I graduated in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation while doing musical projects with various Florentine groups, studying saxophone with Maestro Claudio Giovagnoli. In 2021 I came to Spain for the Master's Degree in Music as an interdisciplinary art of UB/ESMUC/URV. I graduate in September 2022 with thesis ''Music as a tool for the deconstruction of traditional binary power structures: a journey through gender, body and voice''. For the last year I have wanted to experiment musically with the EWI 4000s Electronic Wind Synthesizer. I am now attending a music production course on Ableton Live.

In this course, I will teach you the first steps to start playing classical piano.

Pierpaolo is a guitarist and composer born in 1995 from central Italy (Le Marche, Recanati). At the age of 12 he picked up a classical guitar for the first time (which he still owns) and since then he has not stopped playing, practicing and inventing with it. He currently lives in Barcelona (Spain) where he mainly teaches rock, jazz and flamenco. In fact, his studies range from jazz (he has 2 degrees in jazz guitar) to flamenco. In Barcelona Pierpaolo attends the ESMUC conservatory. "I am Pierpaolo, a professional guitarist with a Bachelor and Master's degree in Jazz Guitar (110 cum laude) and with experience studying other styles such as blues, rock, pop, funk, latin, fusion, flamenco. I have 10 years of experience as a teacher and have played at many festivals and events as a guitarist, in ensembles ranging from solo guitar to orchestra and big band. My passion for music always makes me have fun in classes with my guitar students. I also have experience in the recording studio as an author, composer, arranger, producer and collaborator."
