I have a Higher Degree in singing. The objective of my classes is for the student to find their own voice and know how to get the best out of it, while being able to sing with maximum comfort and in a healthy way. In my classes I propose to start with breathing exercises and vocalizations to warm up the voice and practice different aspects in isolation. Afterwards, the class focuses on working on a repertoire that motivates the student, that is appropriate for their voice and also helps them improve their abilities.

Depending on what you need and want to work on, we will address the following surubís: -Vocal technique: anatomy, functioning, breathing, acoustics and resonators. Understanding how the speech apparatus works is essential to be able to work on its sound and expressiveness. -Conventional singing and improvisation: in addition to singing the songs that you like and/or that you compose yourself, you will learn to listen more deeply and improvise using melodic, harmonic and dynamic tools. Experienced teacher of Oud and oriental Arabic singing for over 11 years, I am Lebanese and currently residing in Germany. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I taught at the Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and gave private lessons. In addition, I was conductor of the Loubnan Assalam oriental orchestra for over 5 years. My recommendation for learning the Oud is to start with the study of notes and musical notation before tackling pieces. Although some students prefer to play songs directly, understanding the basics of musical notation allows for faster progress in the long run.
