I am a professional bassist with more than 15 years of experience, graduated in Jazz and Modern Music by the Taller de Músics. I have recorded more than 30 albums and played at festivals in France, Holland, Switzerland, Portugal, Morocco, Norway, Colombia and Spain. Currently, I participate in more than 10 musical projects, including Papa Orbe & Los Científicos de Sabor, one of the most powerful orchestras of Latin Jazz and Cuban music.

About Me

I am a professional bassist with extensive experience in Jazz, Rock, R&B, Salsa, Funk. I am dedicated to composing, directing, playing and teaching music in a wide variety of styles, adapting to the needs of each student. My goal is for each student to enjoy the learning process while improving their technique and living a unique experience in the world of music.

Education

I have a Higher Diploma in Jazz and Modern Music from Taller de Músics, one of the most prestigious schools in Barcelona. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to participate in masterclasses with great and renowned musicians, which has allowed me to enrich my training and broaden my musical perspective. In addition, I have attended international meetings and music conferences, where I have been able to share experiences with professionals in the sector and continue learning about the most current trends in music.

Experience / Qualifications

With more than 20 years of experience, I have played in more than 30 recordings and participated in prestigious festivals in Europe, America and Asia. My career has been enriched by the integration of various musical groups, achieving important recognitions such as the award for best composition at the Fuenlabrada Jazz Festival and the award for best young jazz group at the Jazz Montjuïc Festival.

The original music from my project Sucursal SA has been used as a soundtrack in films such as La Sangre y la Lluvia (Jorge Navas), Ni te Cases Ni te Embarques (Dago García), as well as in documentaries and short films.

Currently, I am involved in more than 10 musical projects and lead my own ensemble. I have had the privilege of playing with renowned artists and orchestras, such as Papa Orbe & Los Científicos de Sabor, with whom I have toured international stages.
