Are you interested in creating your own art? Don't know where to start? Try this class!
Taught by a recent UGA Graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree who is passionate and dedicated to teaching!

Classes include a lesson, an activity, and homework/sketchbook assignments. Worksheets will be provided.
A package of five lessons includes a shortened version of the curriculum, whereas a package of ten lessons goes more in-depth and has time for student-driven activities.

The curriculum includes:
-Explaining Art Elements and Principles
-Explaining concepts of Color Theory
-Overview of Art History/Art Appreciation
-Learning Gesture and Figurative drawing
-Basics of Acrylic paint and Charcoal
-3D Art
-Critique techniques
and
-Studio Practices

Individual Lessons can include:
-Portfolio Reviews
-Individual piece critiques
-Student-driven lessons

Extra information

Please have a multimedia sketchbook, a notebook to take notes, and a small set of drawing pencils; further materials will be discussed based on the student's needs and interests.
