Art classes in painting, drawing and crafts with a UAL Fine Art Graduate
From 80.7 C$ /h
I'm a Fine Art graduate from University of the Arts London (UAL) - I currently specialise in photography and videography. However I have taught a range of different art disciplines from painting, drawing, design, crafts and sculpture. On a regular basis I teach children from ages 4-11 but I have experience teaching teenagers and adults as well.
During lessons we can focus on a particular discipline such as painting or drawing, work on a project that someone has already started in their own time or I can assist with portfolios or sketchbooks for GCSE/AS/A Levels/Foundation/Degree. These classes are for everyone, ranging from fun creative art play for younger years to older years wanting to learn a new skill or develop a hobby.
Having the ability to be creative and explore art is so beneficial for both children and adults and I aim to make my lessons as supportive, fun, engaging and positive as possible.

Extra information
I own a range of materials which I can bring to lessons, however additional materials can be discussed prior to each lesson. It is useful however to have some of the basics such as A4 paper, pens, pencils, sharpener and rubber.

About Me
My name is Zoë and I’m a recent graduate of Chelsea College of Arts, having completed a BA in Fine Art. I’m currently based in Finsbury Park and am working freelance in the arts in a variety of different roles such as teaching, technician and studio assistant. I also have my own artistic practice which involves photography, videography and text based pieces.
As an art tutor I’ve done a lot of learning myself: learning how to best communicate and teach art and the various different techniques. I’ve had to adapt and find the best way to engage those who I’m teaching and ensure that they are gaining as much as possible from the class, whilst of course having fun.
Throughout my own years of education I have been lucky enough to be exposed to a wide range of materials and techniques and although my own practice is currently photography and videography based I am well taught in a range of different practices. Since working as a tutor/teacher, I’ve realised just how much of a positive impact being creative and the ability to explore art is to both children and adults.
