Currently completing my master's degree in Belgium, I have had the opportunity to perform as a violist with orchestras such as the Orquesta Nacional de Cataluña, Belgian National Orchestra, Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orquesta Simón Bolívar, and other renowned ensembles in Europe. Hi! My name is Charlie and I'm currently a member of the Opera Ballet Vlaanderen Orchestra. Teaching has been the foundation of my musical life for over a decade. My teaching studio has hosted a private studio in Oslo, New York, Connecticut and now Antwerp. While living in New York I was the viola and violin professor at Pluckd Studio where I helped prepare students for music festivals, auditions and to establish a sound foundational approach to instrumental playing. While a student at Juilliard, I coached students in Juilliard’s Pre-College/MAP program and helped lead children’s concerts in Chicago, Austin, New York and Oslo. Practical violin classes for all levels. No matter if you already had any contact with the instrument or if it is the first time you are playing violin. Also I offer support for those violin students that need a little bit of extra motivation or a different point of view to help them pass their classes.

As a orchestra musician since long time, I would like to offer help and training for orchestra auditions. I play in different countries in Europa (France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, UK etc.) : I am aware of the difference styles. I can teach in french and english, if necessary, in german too. I don't count the hours, usually it's between 90 and 120'

My lessons are not only about technique of violin playing but also about learning how to listen and deal with music through a certain instrument. Lessons are adopted from the youngest ages (3+) to mature students. If you already are familiar with music theory I offer advices in composition but also music theory lessons as a preparation for music composition.

I am a professional violinist based in Antwerp, currently finishing a master in pedagogy in the Conservatory of Mons. I propose to teach the violin to children or adults.
