Flute and/or piccolo lessons with an experienced teacher

From 82 C$ /h

In my lessons, I offer access to classic, proven flute methods and books, as well as interesting, recent publications.

In addition, I work with a clear learning plan that is tailored to your level, interests, and learning style. Do you primarily want to refine your technique, learn to improvise, build a strong technical foundation to reach a higher level later, or simply enjoy playing beautiful pieces? Together, we will determine the approach that suits you best.

Extra information

- Bring your own instrument.

I work with a metronome a lot. So you can buy one yourself, install a metronome app, or just use an online metronome at home. During the lesson, we can use my metronome!

I prefer to teach at my home, but we can certainly discuss whether I can teach at the student's home (60-minute lessons). In that case, a travel allowance will also be charged, which we can discuss.

About Me

Hi!

Interested in making music and discovering the flute? Whether you want to learn to play your first notes or take your flute playing to the next level, I would be happy to help you on your way!

I am an enthusiastic flutist and music teacher from Valencia, Spain. I have been living in Belgium for six years now, where I studied classical flute and the educational master's program at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp.

I am naturally curious and continue to discover new things in the music world myself. Consequently, my musical education has never really stopped! After studying classical flute, I delved deeper into classical piccolo, piano (jazz-pop-rock), and this year I even started playing double bass JPR as well.

With more than five years of international teaching experience, five of which were in Belgium, I greatly enjoy teaching children, adolescents, and adults.

My lessons are tailored to your level, interests, and goals. I believe it is important that you enjoy music and develop your own musical personality.
Motivated students are my favorites... 😉

Whether you are a beginner, already have experience, or are simply looking for new musical challenges: you are very welcome. I look forward to making music together!

Flute and piccolo lessons for all ages and levels.
Quick adaptation to the interest and golds of the student.
Lots of years of experience playing in wind bands, so the lessons are also good to prepare that kind of repertoire.
Feel free to ask anything!

Hey!

I graduated as a master in music pedagogy at the Lemmens Institute. I have been playing the flute for 18 years and I am still active as a musician. Although I am no longer a teacher, I would like to pass on this passion.

- Would you like to start with the flute?
- Have you played the flute in the past and would you like to play more often?
- Need extra help practicing a piece of music?
- Can you use extra help with reading notes?
- Would you like to refresh your knowledge of music theory (including scales)?
- ...

Update: this profile is on hiatus. :)

The flute is a very delicate and "light" instrument but is much more than that! With this lessons I want to share my knowledge about this amazing instrument. I will adapt myself to the level of the different students and will also adjust my way of teaching. We can work on sound, embochure, posture, music theory, studies and for sure melodies and even duets! I have experience in different styles such as barroque music, classical, romantique, comtemporary, chôrinho, etc... (we can choose what fits you better, or maybe do them all!). I also play the piccolo, wich would be a nice "candy" for you to try on, if you dont play it already. The main goal after all, is that you are comfortable and excited to explore and learn new things while having fun!

Lessons are individually and carefully adapted to the student’s age, level, and desired outcome.
From the youngest students, to whom the music and playing the basics are served playfully based on making the music an important part of their development to advanced students with whom we can refine all the musical details and prepare for professional careers.
