Throughout the years, I've donned various hats—as an archaeologist unearthing ancient treasures, a museum educator bringing history to life, and a guest lecturer sharing insights with eager minds. However, it's my passion for teaching Greek that truly ignites my spirit. With a Bachelor's degree in History and Archaeology from a prestigious Greek University, supplemented by a Master of Science from a renowned Dutch University, my academic journey has been one of exploration and discovery. I am well trained in online education, experienced, oriented and updated with the latest educational methods. In 2023, I've obtained a Master degree in Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. I've achieved the C1+ levels in English, on the CEFR scale. I have 2 years of experience living in London, where I acquired RP (received pronunciation) and 7 years of experience in the International Academia (Amsterdam). My linguistic background gives me the capacity to explain the sounds and various processes of the language, from a perspective many natives do not know. In teaching, I practice the holistic approach. Hola everyone!
I have always been passionate about arts, culture, people, and traveling, and through my communicative experiences interacting with different people in different languages around the world, I have understood the essential needs when it comes to language acquisition. That is why my method is a compilation of the traditional usage of books, texts, audios, and short films, combined with PowerPoint presentations full of images, interactive games, and recreation of real-life situations in which the students will naturally learn complex grammar topics while having fun. I also create a particular relationship with each student to detect the type of learner the student is and tailor the class according to his/her personality, needs, and expectations. The class can be taught in English or Dutch but I am always aiming to expose the student to Spanish as much as possible so he/she can experience faster progress.

2. Who uses the TOEIC?

The TOEIC test is one of the most widely used English-language tests in the world, with more than 14,000 organizations and universities in more than 160 countries relying on TOEIC scores to make important decisions.

3. What is the TOEIC used for?

The TOEIC is used to help organisations to:
• Select, hire, and/or promote their employees based on their level of English
• Select employees with adequate English language skills to participate in English language programs or training.
• Standardize the level of English language proficiency within the company.
Universities and other higher education institutions use this test to:
• Accept prospective students into their English-speaking undergraduate and graduate programs
