Despina is a professional musician and opera singer. She graduated with honors from the Music Academy at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje and later a Master's degree at the same university and obtained the title "Master in Vocal Singing and Interpretation". Despina has been working as a vocal teacher and professional concert singer for many years and brings a lot of experience. Despina prioritizes a holistic technical approach designed to maximize vocal efficiency, which allows students to enjoy decades of healthy vocal artistry and freedom of expression. She is based in Amsterdam where she teaches in her vocal studio.

I am a professional recorder and flute player with a passion for both early and contemporary music, offering lessons on the recorder, flute, piano, and music theory in the Amsterdam area and online.

I graduated with a Masters in recorder at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam Cum Laude, with a scholarship from The Countess of Munster Musical Trust. Previously, I graduated from the Royal College of Music London with a First-Class Joint Honours Bachelor’s degree in Flute and Recorder. In 2021 I was a finalist for the Moeck/SRP recorder competition as part of the London Early Music Festival.
