Hi there!

I am Elizabeth, a classical pianist from Singapore who is passionate about sharing my love for piano with anyone who is eager to learn! As a Bachelor of Music degree-holder, internationally award-winning pianist and actively performing pianist, I have a great toolbox of knowledge and skills to share. Whether you are looking to learn how to read notes, wanting to pick up piano again, learning some pop songs, or want to take your piano-playing to the next level, I am ready to guide you on your journey!

I tailor my lessons to the interests and needs of every student, while always ensuring that the love for music comes first! Using diverse and interactive methods, I hopes to unlock the musician in every individual!

I also followed the ABRSM exams until DipABRSM level, so I am familiar with the ABRSM syllabus if that is your goal!

I have had more than 5 years of teaching piano to students of all ages and levels. I teach at my cozy place in IJburg where I have a baby grand piano. <3

I have been playing the trumpet for more than 15 years and have experience in many different music genres like Jazz, Pop, Classical, Baroque. I graduated from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana. I used to do a lot of teaching (young to old) when I was still residing in Slovenia. My desired goal as a teacher is to show you an easy and fun way to master a new skill or some new aspects of it, but not to fill your head with unnecessary things that will make your progress hard and slow.

I graduated with a Masters in recorder at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam Cum Laude, with a scholarship from The Countess of Munster Musical Trust. Previously, I graduated from the Royal College of Music London with a First-Class Joint Honours Bachelor’s degree in Flute and Recorder. In 2021 I was a finalist for the Moeck/SRP recorder competition as part of the London Early Music Festival.

I am an encouraging and dedicated teacher who believes that effective practice, rather than talent, is at the heart of any musical development.
