About Me

I'm a professional guitarist and experienced music teacher specializing in classical and jazz guitar. I have a degree in Jazz Guitar Performance and around 17 years of experience teaching students of different ages and skill levels.

My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, whether you're a complete beginner, want to improve your technique and musicianship, learn your favorite songs, develop your jazz improvisation, or work towards a more advanced level of playing.

I aim to make lessons practical, enjoyable, and encouraging while building a strong foundation in technique, musical understanding, and confidence. I also have extensive experience performing classical, jazz, blues, and other styles, which allows me to bring a broad musical perspective to lessons.

Whether you're picking up the guitar for the first time or looking to take your playing further, I'd be happy to help you develop as a musician.

Looking for a piano teacher? In Utrecht you will find the friendly Spanish professional pianist Mar. She lives in Utrecht and studies at the Rotterdam Codarts Conservatory of Music, and has already a master's degree from the Utrecht Conservatory (with pedagogical training as well)

I teach cello to students of all ages and levels: from complete beginners to those preparing for conservatory auditions. My goal is to build your technique and musicality together, step by step, so that you're always challenged but never overwhelmed.

A typical lesson works on a mix of technique (posture, bow control, tone production), repertoire suited to your level and taste, and — if you want it — music theory and sight-reading. I'll set clear short-term goals with you each lesson and check in regularly on your progress, so you always know what you're working toward and why.

I have experience teaching students with dyslexia and ADHD, and I adjust my pacing and explanations so lessons stay clear and comfortable rather than stressful. If you're an absolute beginner, don't worry — I've taught people who've never held a cello before, and we start exactly where you are.

A bit about my background: I hold a Master of Music from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where I studied under Ella van Poucke, and I graduated cum laude from the Conservatory and University of Thessaloniki. With my quartet, I won First Prize and the Young Jury Prize at the Storioni Festival Competition 2026, and I've performed at venues including Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Muziekgebouw Amsterdam, and Muziekgebouw Eindhoven.
