Learning to play the violin, helping with intonation, technique , interpretation.Translate this text using Google Translate.

My name is Anna, a violin teacher from Ukraine living in Amsterdam. Music is my profession, hobby, passion, life. I think music in itself is healing. It touches us, brings different emotions, it gives us energy, joy, power. It helps to understand each other without words. Lessons: Teaching is a part of my life. I have had a great experience in Ukraine where I learned different approaches and where I got my knowledge and experience I continue to work and share it here, in the Netherlands. I find it important that my students get their results through experiencing joy during the lessons. I think that the greatest thing about music is the joy of sharing, that’s why I am also trying to teach my students to be able to share their talent, to play around, collaborate with other students making small ensembles, or just making sometimes a simple house concert. What I am offering: - Different approach - Different styles - Individual program - Possibility to play in a small ensemble (duo, trio) - Theory knowledge It will be a pleasure to meet you! I think it is one of the most important things, to find a teacher you can trust, connect to, and be inspired from. I am sure, if violin means something special for you, you are bound to do great things with it and I can help you. I hope to meet you soon at the first lesson! About me: I finished Kiev Conservatory and graduated Master of music in Rotterdam conservatory from the class of Misha Furman. I participated in masterclasses with Marco Terlizzi, Päivyt Meller, Benjamin Schmid, Vesselin Paraschkevov, Magdalena Szczepanowska and studied privately with Benzion Shamir. I am actively involved in Dutch chamber music, orchestra performances, theater, and film music as well as teaching extensively.

Hello everyone, my name is Gyuhyeong, born and raised in South Korea and currently based in Amsterdam as a dancer. In my Korean lessons, I focus on building a learning process that stays engaging and connected to what *you* love. Whether you are into Korean music, movies, food culture, or daily conversation, I will design a personalized curriculum to fit your interests and learning goals. During our first lesson, we will get to know each other and explore your interests and motivation for learning Korean. You will take notes during the class, while I share personalized materials such as PDFs, videos, or song lyrics. After this session, I will provide you with study notes and small homework to help you review and give you the overview of how our lessons are going to look like. Within your personalized curriculum, we will explore the pronunciation and sound connection of Korean, expressions used in real-life contexts through film, lyrics, recipes, etc., and gradually move toward expressing your own thoughts and stories in Korean. I aim to make the learning experience not only educational but also creative and enjoyable, helping you find small moments of improvement and confidence in your journey of learning Korean!

Voice, Style & Confidence – Connect Through SingingTranslate this text using Google Translate.

My name is Milica Janković. I’m a trained jazz vocalist with over 10 years of experience in music. I’m currently in my final year at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, specializing in Jazz Vocals and working across styles like jazz, pop, folk, and classical music. I began my musical journey in Serbia, singing in a choir at the age of seven. At 19, I created a music format called "Glas Dirka Bass" for a Serbian TV channel, supported by United Group. This gave me valuable experience in music production, media, and public performance. Over the past five years, I’ve recorded more than 400 songs, combining studio work, live performance, and academic study. As a vocal coach, I help students build strong technique, explore improvisation, and develop their personal sound. I focus on breath, posture, and vocal health, while also working on musical expression, confidence, and stage presence. My teaching is rooted in the belief that music is not only technical but also deeply connected to mental and emotional well-being. I encourage students to become aware of how their body, emotions, and daily mindset influence their voice. Whether you're a beginner or experienced singer, I offer a supportive and focused space to grow artistically and personally. My goal is to help each student sing with freedom, honesty, and confidence. Available for private lessons in Amsterdam or online.

Learn Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese – Language and Culture LessonsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Hello! My name is Haixin, and I am a professional Chinese language teacher with over ten years of teaching experience. I run my own teaching practice (KVK registered) and currently give most lessons at students’ homes. I specialize in teaching complete beginners, guiding them step by step with patience, structure, and a lot of encouragement. My lessons focus on practical Mandarin (listening, speaking, reading, writing), and I also introduce cultural elements such as Chinese festivals, traditions, and even hands-on workshops (for example, Chinese calligraphy or crafts). For Dutch-speaking students, I use bilingual Chinese-Dutch teaching materials. This makes it much easier to follow the lessons, build confidence, and enjoy the process of learning a new language. Whether you are a student, a professional, or simply curious about Chinese culture, I would be happy to help you achieve your goals. 📍 Lessons: usually at students’ homes (Amstelveen/Amsterdam region), but online lessons are also possible. 👩‍🏫 Experience: Teaching in the Netherlands & volunteering in Sri Lanka (cross-cultural experience). 🌱 Suitable for: complete beginners, school support, adults, or anyone who wants to start learning Mandarin in a structured and engaging way. Feel free to contact me for lessons—I look forward to meeting you!
