I work at an international language school and I teach Dutch to mainly expats. My focus is on pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. It is important for language proficiency to keep practicing regularly, which is why I give homework after the lesson. By mainly speaking and doing role plays, I get a lot out of my students and they gain more confidence in speaking the language.

우리 수업은 이렇게 진행될 거예요! I plan to integrate the techniques of drama education into teaching Korean! It's like teaching a baby their mother tongue! I will teach every lesson Korean through actions and acting out situations. Learning this way will make Korean feel much more familiar in your daily life compared to learning through textbooks and grammar. Just like teaching a native language to a child, our lessons will be fun and playful, and slow. So, let go of the idea that 'studying means sitting at a desk and memorizing words and grammar.' We will progress together and create our own materials. +모든 수업은 한국어로 진행됩니다. 하지만 절대로 걱정하지 마세요! 아주 천천히 그리고 이해할 수 있는 몸 동작으로 진행해서 여러분들 모두 이해할 수 있을거니까요! - For Basic level: We will start from the very basic level, focusing on Korean alphabet spelling (ᄀ,ᄂ,ᄃ,ᄅ, ᅡ,ᅣ,ᅥ,ᅧ ...) and pronunciation. We will emphasize speaking! - For Beginner level: we will use children's storybooks and short videos (the ones I actually watched and grew up with) as learning tools. Up to the beginner level, we will concentrate on listening and speaking rather than writing. We all learn by listening and speaking when we are babies. - For intermediate level: we will use short novels and movies. From intermediate level onwards, we will practice listening and writing down what we hear, along with expressing our thoughts in a diary. -For advanced level: Even at the advanced level, the format will be similar to the intermediate level, with a focus on 10 minutes of conversation. We will record these conversations and transcribe them, making improvements for more natural expressions!

Welcome! I am Ischico, a piano teacher and concert pianist. For over ten years, I have been teaching children, teenagers, and adults with great love. Whether you are just starting out, want to get more enjoyment out of the piano, deepen your musicality, refine your technique, or learn to improvise: whatever your level, I would be happy to help you. My lessons are completely tailored. Every student is unique, and together we discover how you can achieve your goals. Whether it involves learning the basics, studying pieces or songs, improvisation, music theory, ear training, composition, or building a healthy practice routine: we work on what you need. Do you also want to write your own music? I would love to explore that with you. Whether you are a beginner or have been playing for years, whether you play for fun or want to grow seriously: if you are motivated, you will fit right in with me. The most important thing is enthusiasm! Every year, I organize various performance opportunities for my students: enjoyable group lessons and a performance evening. In addition, I work with my students each year towards their own accessible exam opportunity — with goals that we determine together. Do you also want an official diploma? Then you can work towards an EPTA exam under my guidance. Do you want to work towards an audition for a young talent class, preparatory course, or the conservatory? I do that with great pleasure as well. I teach lessons in my piano studio at the NDSM Wharf in Amsterdam North, on a beautiful Yamaha grand piano. I have completed two Master's degrees at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the Conservatori del Liceu in Barcelona. Hopefully see you soon in my piano studio!

I am a graduate of Conservatorium van Amsterdam in Jazz Piano. I have substantial experience in teaching beginners how to start improvising. You can trust me, I will push you and make you learn it. Improvisation can be learned if the right tools are offered to the beginner. I know what methodology works for upbringing a beginner to start improvising, swinging, and composing a tune. I can guide you through all the scales that jazz musicians use, common chord harmonies used by Bud Powell, Mccoy Tyner, and Herbie Hancock - and most importantly ideas behind them; or you might think you know scales and can't use them in a creative way, I will teach you how to make it a logical language. Swing is the most important element in improvising in a jazz context, and I will guide you on how to practice getting the swing feel, that drives jazz music. Generally, I give lots of assignments, and papers, so it would be nice if the student knew how to read sheet music. If you are a beginner or intermediate who needs a push to get to know common, complex improvisational, compositional, and harmonical ideas, contact me. If you are at an intermediate/advanced level, our lessons might be even more adventurous, and pushy. I will share everything I know. Looking forward to meeting you :)) Feel free to contact me for inquiries.

The most beautiful part about learning a new language is not just having the ability to speak an additional language; it also lets you learn about the culture and gives you the freedom to travel to more places by knowing the local language! I am a native Chinese speaker and have lived in the Netherlands for more than 6 years as an international student. I have also lived in the U.S. for 2 years before I came to the Netherlands. My background allows me to look at things from various perspectives and helps me understand different cultures. During my time here, I have been teaching and tutoring Chinese for children from different age groups. I make my class interactive as well as fun by using different teaching materials and topics that would be interesting for the students! I also provided a cultural learning session where I can help you to understand Chinese culture and how society and people are there, which is super helpful if you are planning a trip to China or having a business in China.

Do you want to teach (electric) piano, keyboard or synthesizer? Then you have come to the right place! Gosse (1989) has been giving piano lessons for more than 10 years and we are proud to announce that almost all students who start the lessons actually continue. The lessons are primarily focused on fun and development. He knows from experience that the most important ingredients for learning to play the piano as effectively as possible are: 1: The pleasure of playing The fun is increased by learning to play numbers that the student experiences as beautiful or fun and that bring the right degree of challenge. Gosse mainly specializes in Pop, Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Funk, Bossa-nova, Latin and Light classical styles. Learn to play your favorite songs! 2: Learning in the way that best suits the student There are three different ways in which someone can learn to play the piano: sheet music, by ear and (the relatively new way) through software programs such as Synthesia. The correct method differs from person to person. 3: Knowing the music theory / shortcuts The three ways you can learn to play the piano described above help you press the right keys at the right time. But it can be easier. Namely by knowing the underlying music theory and / or the shortcuts! Gosse also teaches music production (songwriting and producing). He is most specialized in the Logic Pro and Ableton studio programs. He also helps vocalists who want to accompany themselves on the piano. Feel free to contact us for a trial lesson, for a more detailed version of the above 3 points or if you want to know more!
