About Me

I like to help students build confidence in their playing. It’s a great joy for me to help them overcome difficult techniques and gain confidence in violin. I love violin because of the endless challenges and it’s a great pleasure to share the journey with students.

Over the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of teaching students from diverse nationalities and backgrounds. I have worked with students from various schools, including local Hong Kong schools, Hong Kong International School, Kowloon Junior International School, and the French International School etc.

I have played the violin for over 20 years and am currently doing a master ́s of music in violin. Music is my passion, I have been teaching violin for 5 years, in music schools as well as privately from the ages of 7 to 60.
My aim in teaching is to enable the student to experience the beauty, richness and also the fun side of music, by helping to develop the technical skills needed to express oneself on the violin. I find it very important to take into account the personal goals and wishes of the student and to create an atmosphere of encouragement, creativity and mutual understanding.

In this class, you’ll receive individualized coaching on the structure of your practice time, as well as practice strategies to boost learning.

During a lesson we will work together to assess your goals for practice, what is working well for you, and what areas need improvement. You’ll also learn how to structure your practice time to improve accuracy and help you learn new material faster. I have been teaching violin at the largest music school in Bulgaria, “Rockschool”, for 14 years. I have extensive experience with beginner violinists of all ages. I graduated from the Music Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria, with a degree in violin.
