As a session bassist in Berlin I have recorded in many great studios with Grammy award winning and nominated producers and engineers. Apart from this I play for multiple artists and have played shows in venues such as Festsaal Kreuzberg, Columbiatheater, Lido, Badehaus, Maschinenhaus, Kantine Am Berghain, Privatclub and many more. Next to this I teach students both in person and online and occasionally work at a music venue, basically I do anything to always be in a musical environment! Amazing lessons full of fun, tailored to my individual needs and musical genre from very beginning. Strong focus to teach me how to play by ear, which will give me freedom to join the others in their jamming. Theoretical part is explained very pragmaticaly and in a smart enjoyable way. It’s easy to connect the dots to what we are playing and how I can improvise further based on that knowledge. Jon is very kind and easy going person, I’m so lucky to have him as my teacher. I recommend him to anyone, no matter if you are a complete beginner or an advanced player.
