Trusted teacher: Since graduating at the Conservatory of Rome, teaching as well as performing has been one of my passions! I have been teaching piano for more than 8 years to students of all levels and age. I have experience with children, adults and also with students with different learning abilities. My students were always encouraged to take a step further and navigate through the world of piano under my guidance. My lessons are generally from half hour (for young children) to 1/1,5 hours. Depending on the level of the student, the lesson will include solfeggio and notions of musical theory, technique exercises and study of piano repertoire. My experience lies in classical piano repertoire, including Classicism, Baroque, Romanticism and Early Modern. I try to vary the program of my lessons and to choose the repertoire with the students, based on their taste and inclination. My teaching method is very structured and reflects the methodology taught in Conservatories, Music Academies and Universities. It is aimed at creating a solid basis to prepare for exams and auditions as well as giving the instruments for independent study. This type of method is of course suited also for amateur pianists too, who just want to play in their spare time - it will give them the opportunity to check their practice and receive relevant advice. Aside from the technique, participation, passion and fun are also fundamental! I pace each lesson to the needs and the preparation of the students, listen to their requests and choose with them the right path to follow. All my students are always satisfied with the relaxed and inspiring atmosphere of our lessons!

Trusted teacher: Piano performance & Music therapy Hello! My name is Celia. I’m from Spain and I’m currently studying Music Therapy at the Rotterdam conservatory. I recently become a Music Therapy intern at Florence, The Hague. I obtained my bachelor diploma in piano performance in 2016. I have performed concerts as a soloist, in duet with other pianists and in bigger ensembles/orchestras. Since I moved to the Netherlands, I’m also part of a music trio where we perform pop, jazz, arrangements and compositions from our singer. All these experiences together give me for sure a big capacity of working repertoire and understand the different needs of my students as a teacher! 🙂 As I’m in education as a therapist, I also use all my knowledge in combination with Music Therapy skills with all my students and especially with people who demand a different experience during a music lesson. Music Therapy techniques allow you to play music without any knowledge of theory, so it’s very useful when in the middle of the lesson you need a break or when you just need to connect with yourself, for example. Music Therapy triggers your curiosity 😉 Learn & explore During more than 10 years of experience as a teacher, I have worked all kind of people: children, adults, people with disabilities, families... I’m quite flexible and able to adapt my way of teaching to the circumstances! I like to work individually and in groups. Each way has its own advantages! Evie really enjoyed having a maths lesson with Anahit. Anahit was very communicative through the whole process and arranging. Anahit was able to identify why Evie was struggled and areas to focus on.
