Maud - MadridC$58
Trusted teacher: Having lived abroad, I know that the most important thing isn't just grammar, but daring to speak confidently, understanding the culture, and navigating everyday life. My classes are specifically designed for people who want to live in France and need to feel confident in all aspects of everyday life: administrative tasks, schooling for their children, culture and customs, and everyday communication. The biggest obstacle is often the fear of making mistakes, of sounding ridiculous, of not finding the right words. My goal is to help you break through that barrier so that speaking French becomes natural, fluent, and confident. Why are my classes different? They're in-person (at the Retiro Park or at home), because learning face-to-face changes your energy. Plus, everything feels better when you're moving and in a pleasant environment. What we will work on together: - Real-life conversations and culture: ordering in a restaurant, talking on the phone, integrating into a group. - Daily life in France: administrative procedures, schools if you have children, cultural habits, what you really need to settle in. - Confidence and fluency: speaking without fear of making mistakes. My methodology: - Practical and realistic, always based on authentic situations. - Dynamic and motivating: role-playing games, interaction, moving activities, - Digital support: exercises on Kahoot or other websites to review at home. - Clear and useful grammar: just what is necessary, applied practically. - personalized feedback (with my experience as a language teacher, I know if you have an A1/A2/B1 level...) You'll only need a notebook and a pen to write down the essentials of each class. My goal: for you to speak French with confidence, enjoy the process, and feel ready to live in France, work, or simply learn for pleasure.

A little more about me: My name is Suely and I obtained my Bachelor's degree in music at the Amsterdam Conservatory where I was able to develop an international vision of music, both as a performer and teacher. After several years living in different countries and participating in international orchestras and festivals, such as the Civic Orchestra of Chicago or the Lucerne Music Festival Academy, I returned to Madrid where I completed my master's degree in solo performance and where I combine my professional career as a violinist, both in orchestras and chamber music, with my other great passion: teaching. Adrià - MadridC$50
Trusted teacher: Hello! I am Adrià Acker, pianist, composer, music producer, and director of a new music school located on Ricardo Ortiz Street. I teach classical and modern piano, as well as music composition and production. I am a professional musician with a Master's degree in Original Soundtrack Production, a Higher Degree in Classical Composition (Leeds Conservatoire) and a Professional Conservatory Diploma in Piano from the Royal School in London. I work professionally as a musician, composing film scores. In 2024, I was nominated for a Goya Award for Best Original Score and have received numerous international awards. I also produce artists of various styles and develop my own musical project in my studio in Madrid. In the teaching field, I teach classes at my academy, located on Ricardo Ortiz Street, where my professional studio is also located. The entire teaching team has advanced conservatory training and extensive experience in both teaching and performance at the national and international level. With over 8 years of experience as a teacher, I currently teach more than 130 classes per month. My method is completely personalized, adapted to each student's pace and goals. We work on the three fundamental pillars: technique, reading, and theory, along with your favorite songs, so that each class is motivating, practical, and musically enriching. If you've always wanted to dedicate yourself to music, improve your technique, compose your own songs, improve your piano virtuosity, or simply take your first steps with the piano, I invite you to try a class. What are you waiting for to start your musical journey?

Andrea

rating green star
Andrea has become a bit of a safety valve for me—often I have no idea how to teach or guide my daughter when she’s playing cello. The experience has been so helpful and makes the process run much more smoothly. Even with a language barrier (my daughter speaks neither English nor Spanish), Andrea finds ways to connect, and it’s clear how much my daughter looks up to her. When I signed my daughter up for an orchestra camp at the last minute—with only a couple of days to learn the pieces—Andrea was a lifesaver for both of us, and thanks to her, my daughter is able to go and make great memories. We’ve already had a couple of lessons with Andrea and hope to keep working with her. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Learning a new language can be overwhelming and challenging but with Oumar’s help it’s a breeze in the park. I admire his patience and how dedicated he is to helping me. I can truly say it’s a good decision I made choosing Oumar to be my tutor. I’ve learned so much in such little time, his teaching approach is very organized.
