I will be start the drum kick with some hand pattern exercise with using practice practice pad not in manual or electric drum. Once done with all the exercise will slowly move on to drums notation after that will learn basic rhythm in western, rock and pop, etc. Then will be Kick start learning INITIAL GRADE DRUMS NOTATION (Trinity college of London notes).
