Trusted teacher: If you enjoy bright colors and want to learn to paint abstractly with liquid watercolor paint, this workshop is for you. At the beginning of the painting session we will become familiar with the wet-on-wet technique. We will learn to let the chance of the colors running into each other guide us. In this workshop you will learn to find the balance between chance and gentle brush control. After a short drying time, the fine lines are then applied with fine brushes. Watercolor painting as a meditation technique: Simply starting and working with your hands is a self-healing process, something I rediscovered especially during the Corona crisis. Watercolor painting is relaxing and has a meditative effect, it slows you down and when you wake up from the trance you have created a finished watercolor. What you get: • All necessary materials such as watercolor paper, paints and brushes • Individual support and templates for inspiration • Everything that is created in the workshop • Hopefully a new passion What else you should know: • If you have your own liquid watercolors and paper or brushes, please bring them with you • The workshop can be held in English or German

Sam

Sam is an amazing teacher, patient and open to the student's goals and suggestions. His approach is more technical than theoretical but will nonetheless get anyone willing to learn up to speed on the basics into more advanced notions. He assessed what I was already able to do on the guitar to fill the gaps and help me progress into further fields. So far he's taught me the electric guitar, a bit of bass and piano and I'm very happy about all of it.
