My students have fun, they enjoy our lessons, otherwise they don't practise and make progress :) It is important that our lesson is making you more independant and secure to play and understand music on your own! I have teaching experiences since fourteen years, I studied music education, piano, harpsichord which I will use for your understanding. This year I will only focus on teaching people over 12 years old. If you live 15minutes by bike from me, there is the possibility to come to your home. Trusted teacher: My main teaching philosophy is to teach students to play the music they enjoy. It sounds like a no-brainer but I have had teachers in the past who only showed me songs that they enjoyed or used method books that teach you "Mary Had A Little Lamb" or "Hot Crossed Buns" (and if you like those songs then we can learn those). All that to say, whatever the student's goal on the instrument, I will take them step by step until they reach it. For a beginning musician, the fundamentals of the instrument are given the highest priority: how to tune your instrument, names of all the notes, essential chords, basic strumming, playing in time, and understanding basic rhythm. For someone who already plays but needs a little help getting out of the rut, we'll spend time fixing bad technical habits, hammering home the fundamentals, expanding their repertoire, and slowly moving outside of the comfort zone to new horizons. With advanced players, listening (ear training), transcribing, song analysis, exploring advanced theory concepts, and focusing on composition and improvisation are most important. With all levels of students, I make playlists that I update after each lesson so they can hear real examples of what we are covering, as well as provide detailed written notes in TAB and standard notation so they can refer to everything we covered and know what to practice. Also, it's fun!

It refers to the historic region of the Levant, which includes Palestine, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and the Hatay province of Turkey. Levantine Arabic is the spoken language of region—a "language variety" in linguistic terms. It is the language of daily life, workplaces, and professional settings across the Levant. It is only replaced by Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) in formal contexts like news broadcasts, political speeches, and religious sermons. Whether you're ordering hummus in Damascus, in a meeting in Beirut, or want to express solidarity, or seeking to connect with Arabic communities in Europe, you will use Levantine Arabic. A key advantage is its widespread understandability. Most Arabic speakers from other regions, like Yemen, Egypt, and Tunisia, understand Levantine Arabic, though the reverse is not always true. This makes it a powerful tool for communication across the entire Arab world. As the Levantine Arabic Wikipedia page states, it is "one of the two prestige varieties of spoken Arabic comprehensible all over the Arab world." Face-to-face lessons of modern singing Modern singing: technique, improvisation and repertoire The face-to-face classes take place at a studio in Prenzlauer Berg and are mainly aimed at adults and teenagers who want to learn music. They have a duration of 50 minutes. In singing classes, breathing and vocal technique are worked through warm-up exercises, always with the aim of working the voice in a healthy and correct way. My classes are mainly focused on the repertoire of the student’s preferred style, which can be pop, soul, jazz, blues, bossa nova, tango and bolero, among others.
