Trusted teacher: (German version further down) I enjoy teaching because it requires a deeper knowledge of the material than if one is only performing music. I am continuously learning too. I do not think that it is important how old you are or in what environment you grew up. To engage with music as a result of learning an instrument can bring your brain into a healthy state of ongoing change. People who are "without any talent" for music do not exist. Everyone can engage with music and enjoy it. I can teach piano: - involving sheet music or not, depending on what you prefer. - or/and music theory lessons - or/and improvisation - or/and Jazz - or/and Ear Training - or/and Composition. The lessons can be held in English or German or a mixture of both. I teach close to Friedrichstraße in Berlin. The lessons can be done via Skype too. You can read about me as a performing musician here: Julius (*1995) is a German pianist and composer, graduated from the University of Arts Berne in Switzerland in 2017 with honors. In July 2019 he finished his Masters in the European Jazz Masters Program through the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen with exchange semesters in Berlin and Amsterdam. Throughout his studies, he was lucky enough to receive artistic guidance from Colin Vallon, Django Bates, Harmen Fraanje, Simon Toldam, Peter Bruun, Greg Cohen, and Michael Moore. Julius was granted a scholarship by Lyra Stiftung Zürich in 2015 and 2016. Tours with his own bands have been supported by different fundings from Switzerland and Germany. He performed all across Europe during the past years. German: When teaching, it's important to have a deeper understanding of everything than when "just" making music. I had a great experience with Fritz. Ive been trying to learn music production by myself at home, so I came to him with some knowledge. However, I was never able to finish a song before having classes with him, because everything was very disorganised in my head and I had no idea on how to reach that goal. Fritz showed me techniques, helped me organise in my head what ive learned by myself at home and explained me new topics. I think he's a great teacher because he can understand what do u need and what do u want to learn, and build a clear path that will lead you there.

As a beginner, I took 5hr class with Nohar. She is professional and responsible. Though it’s short but it’s a well planned class. I first learned basics of DJing, then we learned beat match and practiced. Also I learned loop and keys. Feel encouraged and inspired to practice by my own after the class.

Bhangra and bollywood classes for Beginners and intermediate (Berlin)

I had 5 sessions with Paurush, and he designed a beautiful choreography on a bollywood song during this time. The dance steps included Bollywood, Bhangra and a bit of hip hop too. I enjoyed all the sessions and got a good feeling of accomplishment after learning the choreography.
