My name is Marta and I have been teaching Polish to French speakers for ten years, first in Warsaw, then in Paris and Toulouse. I use several supports during the lessons: contemporary textbooks, authentic video materials (advertising, cartoons, Polish series and films), songs, interactive games, modern adapted texts, worrying above all about making the sessions a pleasant moment! Each course is well structured and designed to allow you to develop all the skills gradually, according to your desires and needs. I focus in particular on communication in everyday situations and understanding everyday language. No improvisation, the exercises are always designed so that you can develop increasingly sophisticated oral expression. The important point: I graduated in Polish linguistics from the University of Warsaw, the State Diploma, giving access to the supervised profession in Poland, is not a trivial training :) I will never tell you "c 'It's like that!', I explain everything clearly. In the case of adults, it is important to understand how the language works in order to progress. I also have the training to prepare for exams certifying mastery of Polish.

I have been a teacher for over 30 years, and I gained experience in teaching Polish as a foreign language at the People's University (Volksuniversiteit) in The Hague (Netherlands). Since 2015 I have been teaching Polish to adults from different backgrounds at this university. I am a teacher with language teaching preparation, which means that I am prepared to conduct Polish lessons as a foreign or second language Moreover, children from Polish-Dutch families were or currently are participants in my private and group lessons at a Saturday school in the Netherlands. Given my disciplined, reliable and professional attitude, I am happy to take up any challenge in teaching Polish as a foreign language. I use simple yet effective teaching methods such as a focus on direct contact with the language, natural acquisition of vocabulary and grammar or frequent repetition of language material. During my lessons I mainly use the tools and materials from various publishers. Being a teacher gives me great satisfaction, especially when I see students ambitiously continue their language learning and try to use and expand their knowledge at every interaction with the Polish society.
