With 7 years of experience behind me and around forty students, I noticed that the best teaching method was a transversal approach, working from the beginning on musical expression using compositions adapted to the student's level, as well as exercises focused on paying attention to our body, our movements and our musical intention. This approach adapts to everyone's desires. Adults and children of all ages are welcome, the first lesson always being free, at my home on a Grand piano. With children, this takes the form of age-appropriate, playful teaching, with which I identify one or two specific objectives to achieve that allow complex concepts to be communicated in a simple way. Learning through physical experience allows all of these things to be approached in a guided and easily accessible way.

I graduated in piano from the University of Aveiro (in the class of Álvaro Teixeira Lopes) and I will soon begin my master's degree in performance at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (with Aleksandar Madžar), while also taking courses with Olivier Gardon. Throughout my career, I have won prizes at international competitions in Portugal, Italy, and Austria, and I was also a finalist in Spain. As a pianist, I have had the opportunity to perform on stage in Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, and Austria. I am constantly seeking to improve myself, which has led me to participate in masterclasses and take courses with renowned professors, such as Ricardo Castro, Mamiko Suda, Giuseppe Andaloro, Vagharshak Aratunyan, Josep Colom, among many others. I have had the great opportunity to give piano lessons and lead masterclasses, and in recent years, to share my experience and perspective with students of all ages and from diverse backgrounds. My courses are suitable for students of all levels and ages. The program is tailored to your needs: Curious and beginners: are you embarking on learning the piano? We will progress in a relaxed atmosphere and discover the instrument at your own pace. For advanced students: ideal for resuming your studies, improving your technique, delving deeper into your favorite repertoire, or preparing for exams! The method is designed 100% for you!

Learning to play the piano is like learning another language, it is the language of the body in harmony with the music. I teach my students to have a musical thought to better understand the technique and I work on body gestures to make it easier to adapt to the instrument. I can learn to read and write music, have notions of music theory, play classical music, songs, movie music, ... I have a Master in Solo Piano and a Master in Chamber Music from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I also have a musical diploma of the regional conservatory of Paris. I've been teaching regularly for 8 years. I have experience with children and adults.

Music and teaching are my two great passions. I was lucky to study and work in many countries in Europe and the United States, which greatly enriched my attitude towards my students. I adapt my teaching methods to the needs of each student (sensory method, without or with scores, improvisation etc.). My classes take place in a caring and very inspiring atmosphere. I invite all who already love music and those would be worth discovering it. We need art to breathe! Come many

In my course, I'm offering to share my knowledge and passion with you, whether your preference lies with classical or otherwise. I work best with more advanced students to be able to go more in-depth but would be happy to welcome any level of playing in my class. In a way, I'd like to think that everything is in connection with everything else. A musician is not only a musician but also a painter, poet, dancer (though in my case that last one can't be taken literally), and even a scientist. Why do I say this? Because I can teach you how to observe and learn from these connections which will improve your musicality, problem-solving skills, technical skills, memorization, and many other aspects of your music playing - and life in general. Welcome to my class!

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.
