Guitar, piano, composition and music production lessons (all styles!)Translate this text using Google Translate.

-Dutch & videos below- Lessons in 6 languages! With more than 200 students through all my life, more than 500 shows (mostly in Spain but also around Europe and a couple of minitours in America), 15 CDs/EP/singles published (as a frontman, sideman and producer), a bachelor in jazz-modern music guitar (Taller de Músics - Barcelona), half bachelor in piano jazz (Conservatori del Liceu - Barcelona) and a long professional music career behind me playing a ton of different styles (pop, rock, funk, metal, jazz, folk, rumba, reggae...), I've come from Barcelona to Rotterdam to continue my musical journey by doing the latin master at Codarts. I've been working as a music teacher for around 12 years (I'm 29 years old), both doing private lessons and in different music schools, being the most important one the “Escola de Música Creu Alta” in Sabadell (Barcelona), which is one of the biggest music schools in Spain (with more than 900 students), in which I was the Head of the Modern Music Department. I teach guitar (electric and classical), piano (electric and classical), composition, musical production (with Logic Pro), ensemble and modern music theory AT ALL LEVELS, from 100% beginners to people who want to prepare themselves for the music bachelor. I can adapt totally to what the student wants and is looking for, but also, since I have a lot of experience, I have the lessons well planned, I know which songs and exercises work better depending on the aspect that we want to work (tempo, chords, scales, sound, improvisation...) and when I see someone playing I can see in which aspects is the person strong, and in which aspects has the person more problems, so that way you won't waste your time! Also I'm a fun and very empathetic person so we will have fun, which is the most important thing!! I speak 6 languages: Catalan, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Dutch and English, so we can do the classes in one of these languages. The lessons can take place in my home (Maashaven metro station) where I have a nice setup, online or in your home. -Dutch- Lessons in 6 languages! Sing, play, and write music with a conservatory-trained vocalist and songwriter in her home studio!Translate this text using Google Translate.

In my lessons, having fun while making music is always central. I believe you learn best when you feel safe, seen, and free to experiment. That’s why I work with a personal and positive approach, allowing each student to follow their own pace and musical interests. A typical lesson starts with a short warm-up or technical exercise, tailored to the voice or instrument. We then work on songs, ideas, or projects the student enjoys, such as singing favorite songs, writing original music, or producing a track. Technique, musicality, and creativity are always intertwined. I explain theory in a practical and accessible way, so it can be applied immediately to your own music. My background as a conservatory-trained vocalist, songwriter, and producer allows me to combine multiple disciplines. I support students not only with vocal or instrumental technique, but also with expression, confidence, songwriting, and developing a personal style. Making mistakes is part of the process, and often where the most beautiful ideas begin. The lessons are suitable for both beginners and advanced students, and for anyone curious about music and creative growth. Whether you dream of performing on stage, writing your own songs, or simply singing or playing with more confidence and joy, we will work together, focused and with lots of fun, on your musical development.

Want to learn piano, beginner or advanced? I can help you!Translate this text using Google Translate.

I would like to teach you to learn to play the piano. Music is an indispensable thing in life, in my opinion. The lessons will be in person at my home on location (online is possible in consultation) and the teaching method will be adapted to knowledge, technique and age. I can teach you technique as well as the fundamentals of music theory. Of course it's a lot more fun if you can also just play your favorite pieces! I believe that development of technique is better practiced by learning and applying it in actual pieces of music instead of exercise books of, for example, Alfred's piano method. Some info about me: I have been interested in classical music since my early teens. It's an incredibly important part of my life. My private teachers were main study teacher of piano and organ Jelena Bazova from the Tilburg Conservatory, Canadian concert pianist Steven Massicotte and Helmond city organist Jan van de Laar. I don't consider myself a soloist, as I had only been at the conservatory for a fairly short time, before going back to ICT and financing my concert grand piano. Some examples of my (favorite) repertoire (both complete and works in progress): * Bach WTK 1, Prelude 1 in C * Bach WTK 1, Prelude 4 in C#m * Bach WTK 1, Fugue 4 in C#m * Bach WTK 1, Prelude 24 in Bm * Bach WTK 1, Fugue 24 in Bm * Bach Harpsichord Concerto BWV 1052 in Dm * Chopin Ballades, no. 23.1 in Gm * Chopin Ballades, no. 47.3 in Ab * Chopin Scherzi, no. 39.3 in C#m * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 9.1 in Bbm * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 9.3 in B major * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 15.1 in F major * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 15.2 in F#m * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 32.1 in B major * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 48.2 in F#m * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 62.1 in B major * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 72.1 posth. in Em * Fauré Nocturnes, no. 33.1 in Ebm * Poulenc, opera “Dialogues des Carmélites” accompaniment

Play only what you like! - Piano lessons for all levels and all stylesTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Music is Play! and everyone is it's own game. Read, understand and make only the music you like. I think if it isn't fun, it can't be music:) I studied a classical piano bachelor, and later a jazz master and a live electronics master. In the meantime, I have been teaching music. It's longer than 9 years now! Most of my students learn piano. With the starter ones, I use my own system to equally help them grow all the needed skills: body consciousness (to avoid lesions or bad habits), music theory (including writing and reading) and improvisation. Usually most songs are made of melody, chords and rhythm. From there, I can help you understand how a song works, how is it written, how does it translate to the piano... and voilá! You'll know the song by heart, and will be able to play it a bit different every time, because you won't be following a set of pre-imposed instructions. You will understand how a small system (a song) works. This way of learning can be applied to any song, from any century or style. Understanding is key! Play Chopin, write rock songs, play Monk, Bill Evans, the Beatles, make a lo-fi beat, play Beethoven, play the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Star Wars, play video game music, play salsa! bachata and make people dance, laugh or cry. Music is very powerful! PD: I have also experience imparting electronic music lessons in Ableton Live and Max MSP, which is now a very important part of my professional practice. In case you are interested, it is also possible to mix the two worlds and create a any kind of path between piano, synths, beats and home studio techniques. Ask me anything, I'll tell you how I could help!

Piano Lessons in Classical and Contemporary Styles for Beginning-Advanced Levels (ages 6 and up)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Piano Lessons in Classical and Contemporary Styles for Beginning-Advanced Levels (ages 6 and up)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

Piano Lessons for Children & Adults in Bebek | English or Turkish | ABRSM & LCMETranslate this text using Google Translate.

Piano Lessons in Bebek, Istanbul – Children & Adults With 15 years of teaching experience, I offer individual piano lessons for children from age 3, as well as teenagers and adults, at Poco Piano, a boutique music studio located in Bebek, Istanbul. Lessons are individually planned according to each student's age, level, learning pace and musical goals. My approach combines classical piano training with music theory, sight-reading, ear training and musicianship, creating a strong musical foundation rather than focusing only on learning individual pieces. For young beginners (ages 3–6), lessons are adapted to the child's attention span and developmental stage. The first goal is to build a positive relationship with the instrument and teacher while gradually introducing rhythm, pitch, keyboard orientation and basic musical concepts. For school-age students, teenagers and adults, lessons may include classical repertoire, technique, sight-reading, music theory and preparation for internationally recognised music examinations. ABRSM & LCME Exam Preparation I provide preparation for ABRSM and London College of Music (LCME) practical and theory examinations. Lessons can include repertoire preparation, technical work, sight-reading, aural skills and music theory according to the student's level and examination requirements. Conservatory & Music Theory Support Academic support is also available for students who need help with solfège, music theory, harmony or conservatory-related coursework. Practical Information All prices listed for lessons at Poco Piano include VAT (Value Added Tax), and lessons take place at our studio in Bebek, Istanbul. Home/private lessons can also be arranged upon request. These lessons are scheduled and priced separately depending on location and availability. Poco Piano offers: • Piano lessons from age 3 for children, teenagers and adults • Classical guitar lessons from age 8 • Beginner ukulele lessons from age 5 • ABRSM & LCME practical and theory exam preparation • Music theory, solfège and harmony support • Conservatory preparation and academic music support • Lessons in Turkish or entirely in English • Online music theory and exam-preparation lessons • An annual studio concert, giving students the opportunity to perform in front of an audience New students may attend a short complimentary introductory session before registration. This session is designed to meet the teacher, discuss the student's goals and determine the most appropriate lesson programme and duration. Regular lessons are individually planned according to the student's age, level and musical goals.

“ I started my lessons with Giorgia four months ago, and I am so glad to have found her. As a 26-year-old beginner, I was not sure if I should even try to pursue learning an instrument at this point. But now I am so glad I did! I am learning online, and I was a little unsure of how lessons via webcam would go. Despite my prejudice, everything turned out great, even though my setup is quite basic. Her approach to teaching is very creative. She is able to explain things that seem hard to put into words, and she always finds comparisons and descriptions that convey clearly little details of approach that make a lot of difference in the end result. For any difficulty I encountered, she presented methods of exercise that helped correct it. Another thing that I appreciate is that from one lesson to the next, the volume of work is challenging enough that I feel I am making progress, but not to the point that I am overwhelmed. Also, even though I am just beginning and the pieces are not that complex, she explains the musical interpretation in a way that not only helps me advance my skill but also enriches the way I understand and listen to music, and I find great value in that. Her manner of teaching is very organic, and she is a patient teacher with a warm presence. I wholeheartedly recommend her lessons! ”

“ I had previously played some classical for a few years, but was looking to learn jazz piano and improvisation as well. For this David is ideal, as he studied both as a classical and jazz musician, and has a deep understanding of each. About half the lessons we focus on jazz improvisation. During the lessons I improvise over a few songs, and each session he gives feedback, while adding a new layer of difficulty. We've also worked a lot on rhythm, which has really helped me bridge the gap between classical and jazz. We spent a few lessons on classical pieces as well, to refine technique and musicality. My playing feels much more fluid and musical already, and he's really helpful/knowledgeable with the details. Also, on the weeks where I did have not had much time to practice, we do a more (jazz) theory oriented lesson, which has also helped alot with my improvisation. Overall, I only have positive things to say about the lessons! David is a very easy-going teacher, and from the first lesson I felt very comfortable asking him questions. He's very versatile as well, and easily adapts the lesson according to what suits us best that week. ”

“ Mary has been great in our interactions. At the moment, we are meeting twice a week for an hour each session. She started with a class in which we got to know each other and she listen to my goals. Then, she prepared exercises and lessons specially designed to help me reach those goals with practice and also prepared lessons to help me continue growing as a guitar player. Moreover, she goes often out of her way to get songs challenging to my level, but that are doable with enough practice. In all, I am enjoying quite a lot of our classes and I am always looking forward to them. ”
