I have been giving piano lessons for 15 years, to both children and adults, all levels. My unique feature? I don't just train students to play the piano, but to understand music in depth: to know the historical context of the works studied, to analyze scores from the beginning (yes, even beginners can analyze!), and ultimately, to compose or arrange your own music. Analyzing a piece of music is not just about playing it correctly — it gives you the keys to progress on your own, understand other styles, and develop your own musical language. Computer-assisted music (MAO) courses naturally complement this learning: producing, arranging, and recording your musical ideas with today's digital tools. This is a rare skill for a classical piano teacher and a real asset for students who want to create. Not a fan of music theory? Don't worry. I respect your pace and have methods to suit you. I highly recommend music theory for solid progress, but if you'd like to avoid it, there are solutions—and I'll be completely transparent about the limitations involved. The classes take place: In my professional recording studio in Boulogne-sur-Mer Home Online via Synkii — a specialized platform for music lessons, with no latency and optimal visual support.

Welcome to the music class! Here, we are gonna discover the wonders of learning an instrument. From reading note letters, implementing a proper form to sight reading a piece, we are gonna learn in our own pace. If you're just learning music now and it feels like there's a lot to understand, don't worry we're gonna start from the basics. I will help you understand music and its elements. With your dedication and my guidance, I'm positive that we will get a good result!

My lessons are friendly, relaxed and interactive. We start from the music you enjoy and build your skills step by step. In class we work on songs, chords, rhythm, technique and improvisation, always in a practical and musical way. Lessons are adapted to your level and goals, whether you are a beginner or already have some experience. My goal is simple: help you understand the piano, enjoy music and feel confident playing. Feel free to send me a message and tell me what music you love!

The rule is simple: don't be afraid to make a fool of yourself! Students are encouraged to try, fail, and overall be proactive in learning new information in bite-sized chunks: all of that in a warm and comforting environment. Depending on the personal goal of the student, we will learn/refine/explore the following topics: - Fundamental techniques of playing piano - How to read and play chords - How to play an improvised solo - How to change the underlying harmonies of a song to make it sound cooler (or weirder!) - Understanding how the musical elements are glued in a song, and if you dare, how to write one yourself - How to learn music or play music by ear - Exploring piano-looking-like instruments such as electric keyboards and subtractive synthesizers Languages: English (fluent), German (B1 and improving), Korean (native)
