I am a dedicated and passionate teacher with a Master’s degree in Physics, committed to helping students from grades 9 to 12 by update their understanding of the subject. With several years of teaching experience, I have developed a deep understanding of the curriculum and the common challenges students face. In my sessions, I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring complex concepts. Philosophy is a fascinating but often difficult discipline to grasp. For this reason, it discourages many. Yet it is essential for understanding the world around us. Philosophy develops critical thinking while allowing each individual to better understand themselves and analyze social issues. In this course you will learn how to: - read and analyze the structure of a philosophical text; - to distinguish between the presuppositions, arguments and thesis of a text; - identify the flaws in the arguments and build your own counter-arguments; I will also provide you with some basic propositional logic to help you construct more effective arguments. Furthermore, you will acquire a solid philosophical foundation through the study of the great authors of the tradition: Plato, Aristotle, Hobbes, Locke, Kant, Nietzsche, and Marx, to name just a few. However, this course also aims to be an entry point to understanding more recent theories, which is why we will not hesitate to explore more contemporary texts related to feminist, ecological, technocritical, or transhumanist thought. With a master's degree in philosophy and experience as a teacher, I offer personalized courses to understand major philosophical concepts and effectively prepare for the baccalaureate exams. Students will learn to analyze a topic precisely, formulate a problem statement, develop a well-reasoned argument, and engage with authors without simply reciting their notes. We will work on essay writing, text analysis, philosophical culture, and written and oral expression. Each session is tailored to the student's level, difficulties, and objectives. Using concrete topics, texts, and their own work, I help them acquire a solid methodology, develop their critical thinking skills, and formulate their own thoughts with clarity and rigor. The courses are aimed at high school students preparing for the baccalaureate, students following the HLP teaching as well as adults wishing to discover or deepen their knowledge of philosophy.

Together we will prepare a lesson to discover or reinforce previously acquired knowledge. The idea is to learn effectively through privileged dialogue, a space where all questions are welcome. We will focus on a particular school of thought or philosopher in order to be prepared by the end of the year!
