Song, well-being and interpretation The voice is an instrument specific to everyone, which is why each course is tailor-made according to your tastes and abilities. Vocal technique Developing your vocal technique allows comfort and ease in the chosen repertoire. It requires some discipline and some proprioception. Thanks to a variety of exercises, I can help you understand the mechanisms related to the voice and better appropriate your body to achieve a more precise technique. Singing is a sport, and the development of muscles is important, just as much as the relaxation and flexibility of certain parts of the body. Taking vocal technique lessons is therefore a demanding activity both in terms of bodily activity and investment in progress and at home. Interpretation The understanding and the appropriation of the written text as well as the musical one is the key to the interpretation of a work. Together we can explore the multiple musical worlds by discovering the stories told but also those of the authors and composers. Through exercises, I can help you soak up the different emotions that you want to convey. Through various exercises of diction, declamation and theater, I will help you to transmit them. Reconnect to yourself Because singing is intimately linked to our emotions, I offer you exercises to reconnect to your physical and emotional body, in order to get to know you better but also to improve your self-confidence, your proprioception and acceptance as well as the transmission of emotions. Singing can be a real personal development tool, and personal development tools can help you sing better. Because the body is our instrument, well-being has its place in a technical singing lesson. Singing can be a healing tool for some people, but for others, minor traumas, whatever they are, can hamper the emission of the song. It is therefore important to come together to sing better: a healthy singer in a healthy body and mind. Singing confronts us with ourselves, our feelings, our emotions and our abilities. We can gently explore this complete tool that is our body for a better well-being in life and in song. Want to take a class? Who am I I am a young creative artist in live performance and mixed media, trained in lyrical singing during my bachelor at the Institute of Music and Pedagogy in Namur and my master at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève in Neuchâtel. I have a great choir experience thanks to the Choraline (youth choir of the opera of La Monnaie), the Maitrise of Paris, and the choir voces desuper as well as the animation of masses, in particular in the cathedral of Brussels and wedding masses. My experience as an actress and at the opera allowed me a great ease on stage and an inspiration as an author and director. I am also a modern art therapist trained by ifortpsy and meformer.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s age, experience, and goals. Children (7–12 years old) For younger students, lessons focus on building confidence while making learning fun. We begin with simple vocal warm-ups and ear training to develop pitch and intonation, then move on to singing their favourite songs, encouraging good vocal habits in an enjoyable way. Teenagers (12-17 years old) With teenage students, we start with more structured vocal warm-ups and exercises. As we discover their natural voice, we work on developing a comfortable vocal range, improving technique, and applying these skills through songs that suit their voice and interests. Adults and seniors (18+) For adult students, lessons are usually divided into two parts. We begin with vocal technique, focusing on breathing, diaphragm support, scales, arpeggios, and intonation. We then apply these techniques through singing, helping you develop confidence, control, and healthy vocal habits. I will give you repertoire to study or we will study the pieces you have to prepare. The final goal will be to sing on a musical accompaniment. Every student learns at a different pace. Some may spend more time building a solid technical foundation before moving on to more challenging repertoire, and that’s perfectly fine. My priority is to ensure that every student feels comfortable, supported, and confident throughout their vocal journey. I teach children, teenagers, and adults and seniors from complete beginners to advanced singers. My classical training provides a strong technical foundation that can be applied to any musical style, whether you enjoy pop, musical theatre, jazz, rock, or classical singing. Hello! I’m Elena, I’m Italian and I’m an opera singer, currently actively performing in the contemporary field :) On top of my artistic career, which is now 20+ years old, I have 10 years of solid everyday experience in the musical teaching field, with particular regards for online teaching. My specialties are: teaching opera voice and kids’ vocality. For both of these, any level, even absolute beginner is 100% welcome! I’ve been training children and teens ever since I graduated from my position at La Scala children choir at 18 years old. I love working with kids, and it warms my heart to think of how many little faces I have already had the privilege of meeting thanks to this career. I have helped so many access to the children choirs of their respective cities, and with so many many others I have simply participated in their musical learning journey, which makes me equally proud and happy. Teaching adults is a completely different matter, of course, but it’s probably even more thrilling to me because it allows me to spend the day navigating the fascinating routes of lyrical singing technique. I know how opera studies can be confusing - to say the least; I try my best to represent a safe place for anybody who wants to explore this ancient form of art, as well as to clarify its key points and guide my students to building a correct repertoire. I give lessons for any kind of purpose: - learning music - improving musicality - preparing an audition - finding our own voice - overcoming insecurity Everybody is different, so everybody has their own path to go through; I cater my lessons to the pupil’s needs, and even if the method is always classical, I make sure that the hour of lesson is a fun moment as well as a learning experience.
