Singing has always been a part of my life. I started singing at the age of 14 at the Geneva Conservatory of Music. In June 2024, I obtained my Master's degree in Pedagogy at the Geneva University of Music, and am currently studying for a Master's degree in Concert Singing at the Geneva University of Music. This course aims to develop everyone's vocal techniques and skills. I want to share the pleasure of learning, to support everyone in their desire to sing regardless of the style and to help people discover this beautiful world that is music!

Professional singer (soprano colorature) graduated from the Tirana Academy of Arts, winner of the International Lyric Song Contest of Prishtina in the solo category as well as many other national competitions (in Albania) gives singing lessons in Carouge. Professor of music in several Geneva institutions, member of the Operami troupe and singer-soloist of the Electrum & Elisir group, she participated in the Euro Song Contest 2014 and recorded her voice for the Swiss artist Sky76 on her last two albums. This course is aimed at students of all levels who really want to progress in learning to sing for a fun or professional purpose. The musical styles that can be approached range from classical music to radio music (pop, soul, rock, house, etc.) and folk music. Knowledge of music theory, although useful, is not mandatory. In case of need bases of music theory will be addressed in class.

After many years of study and experience as a soloist on the world's greatest stages, alongside leading conductors and directors, I have chosen to combine teaching with my international career in order to share my expertise with anyone who wishes - by vocation or passion - to discover the fascinating world of opera singing. A solo career is a demanding one: you need solid technique, a high degree of self-confidence, and a thorough understanding of your vocal instrument to be able to manage and care for it. But good technique is just as essential for those who sing for pleasure or in a choir, whether professional or amateur. Each voice has its own particularities, and together we will seek to respect the nature of your instrument and lay the foundations for a healthy technique, based on correct diaphragmatic breathing. My lessons last one hour and are suitable for everyone: whether you are a beginner or an experienced singer. The classes focus on vocal technique, breathing, pitch and interpretation, in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere. I have 13 years of musical training in piano and singing, 10 years of experience in choral singing, and 4 years of teaching singing to students aged 13 to 50. Objective: to develop the voice, confidence and the pleasure of singing, whether for a hobby or a more serious project. Lessons tailored to each student's objectives.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s age, experience, and goals. Children (7–12 years old) For younger students, lessons focus on building confidence while making learning fun. We begin with simple vocal warm-ups and ear training to develop pitch and intonation, then move on to singing their favourite songs, encouraging good vocal habits in an enjoyable way. Teenagers (12-17 years old) With teenage students, we start with more structured vocal warm-ups and exercises. As we discover their natural voice, we work on developing a comfortable vocal range, improving technique, and applying these skills through songs that suit their voice and interests. Adults and seniors (18+) For adult students, lessons are usually divided into two parts. We begin with vocal technique, focusing on breathing, diaphragm support, scales, arpeggios, and intonation. We then apply these techniques through singing, helping you develop confidence, control, and healthy vocal habits. I will give you repertoire to study or we will study the pieces you have to prepare. The final goal will be to sing on a musical accompaniment. Every student learns at a different pace. Some may spend more time building a solid technical foundation before moving on to more challenging repertoire, and that’s perfectly fine. My priority is to ensure that every student feels comfortable, supported, and confident throughout their vocal journey. I teach children, teenagers, and adults and seniors from complete beginners to advanced singers. My classical training provides a strong technical foundation that can be applied to any musical style, whether you enjoy pop, musical theatre, jazz, rock, or classical singing. Hello! I’m Elena, I’m Italian and I’m an opera singer, currently actively performing in the contemporary field :) On top of my artistic career, which is now 20+ years old, I have 10 years of solid everyday experience in the musical teaching field, with particular regards for online teaching. My specialties are: teaching opera voice and kids’ vocality. For both of these, any level, even absolute beginner is 100% welcome! I’ve been training children and teens ever since I graduated from my position at La Scala children choir at 18 years old. I love working with kids, and it warms my heart to think of how many little faces I have already had the privilege of meeting thanks to this career. I have helped so many access to the children choirs of their respective cities, and with so many many others I have simply participated in their musical learning journey, which makes me equally proud and happy. Teaching adults is a completely different matter, of course, but it’s probably even more thrilling to me because it allows me to spend the day navigating the fascinating routes of lyrical singing technique. I know how opera studies can be confusing - to say the least; I try my best to represent a safe place for anybody who wants to explore this ancient form of art, as well as to clarify its key points and guide my students to building a correct repertoire. I give lessons for any kind of purpose: - learning music - improving musicality - preparing an audition - finding our own voice - overcoming insecurity Everybody is different, so everybody has their own path to go through; I cater my lessons to the pupil’s needs, and even if the method is always classical, I make sure that the hour of lesson is a fun moment as well as a learning experience.
