In my teaching, I rely mostly on old traditional methods, books, and repertoire, which have proved their efficiency over the time. I also make use of the teaching tradition of partimenti of the old Neapolitan conservatories - exercises for composing that can be applied from early stage. This not only adds a creative element soon after very beginning, but also teaches via practice the basics of harmony and polyphony. Lessons can be combined (+30min.) with theory/solfege (ear training), if the student wishes. English, Nederlands, française, Deutsch. Piano lessons in Jazz, Classical, or Modern styles; depending on the student's interest, we can mix a bit of everything or delve deep into one style. Main focus applied to overcome the problem of piano: mastering two-handed rhythm. To achieve this, I teach left-hand grooves and foundations while working on improvisation, harmony, melodies, accompaniments, and everything there is to play with the right hand. I introduce piano techniques such as walking bass, tenths, stride, drop 2, and more. HI, My name is Ewa and I have lived in Rome for more than 12 years and I have been playing the violin for approx. 30 years. I graduated from music institutes in Poland (modern violin) and the conservatories of Santa Cecilia and Rome and the one in Palermo (baroque violin). I have been teaching the violin to children, teenagers and adults of all ages for more than 20 years. My studio is located in the San Pietro area (near the San Pietro train station). Scientific research states that those who play the violin develop both cerebral hemispheres while normally only one develops. Furthermore, playing the violin can also offer various possibilities in life: perhaps you or yours no one knows yet.
