Guitar / Bass / Ukulele / TheoryTranslate this text using Google Translate.

The course that I propose is BILINGUAL FRENCH / ENGLISH, as well as 2 BOOKS. Age and musical taste are not restrictive when in the program, you can with qualitative daily work (not quantitative) quickly observe your progress. Here the pleasure of playing music is put forward. The kind of music you love most will be the focus of the course, their codes and secrets will be the focus of our study, that's what I want to share with you. We can do technical lessons and simply learn together how to play one or more songs of your choice or mine, enrich your game with this approach and your repertoire! (For example, We can re-arrange the pieces and make them more original by approaching the system (CAGED), and enriching their chords, resulting in new positions, new techniques and new sounds, using arpeggio techniques rather than strumming for 4-chord pieces, voicing and fingerstyle techniques, in short, expanding the instrument's playing fields and playing skills to keep progressing in your game and improve your rehearsals ...) If you make a request, this program is obviously accompanied by the pleasure of learning more in theory and being able to directly apply new knowledge on its instrument and identify its common or rare use in the pieces discussed in class. In this case, the theory is translated to be accessible to anyone, both for those who are connoisseurs and for those who discover everything from absolute zero. The exercises, songs, and theoretical explanations offered throughout the program are organized in an order of progressive difficulty. I wrote and produced 2 books of my method to learn the guitar and the music, that I sell to accompany my course and your apprenticeship in the best conditions and so that you can continue the course even at home and to review etc ... . There is ONE BOOK OF COURSES containing all the theoretical and practical program of the year, as well as a BOOK OF EXERCISE on the ranges and the modes that you can obtain directly. You can find here an indicative list of objectives that I propose in my theoretical program, which can of course adapt to your request. The general theoretical objectives of the course: --- Tuning / tuning and knowing his guitar: * Standard Tuning * Drop Tuning * Open Tuning * Adjust the optimal tension of the strings * Adjust the shaft axis * Adjust the action of the strings * Choose the strings adapted to the style of play / tuning * Change his strings -Know his chords: * Triads: Fundamental State & Inversions * Tetrads: Fundamental State & Inversions * The chord progressions of the Range * Arpeggio techniques (tapping, sweep, 1/2/4 fing.shape, etc ...) --- Know his scales and his modes * The Mode of the Major scale * 3 Modes of the Minor scale: Natural / Melodic / Harmonic * Modes of the Pentatonic range: 5 positions * Modes of the Blues range: 5 positions Etc ... --- Technique to the Pick / Plectrum / Tab / Pick (Electric Guitar): * Alternate Picking * Fast Picking / Tremolo Picking * Hybrid Picking * Palm Mute * Natural Harmonics * Pinch Harmonics * Artificial Harmonics * Shredding * Tapping * Sweep Picking * Legato Picking --- Strumming / Hand Picking (Acoustic Guitar) * "SnareDrum" percussion on the guitar * Arpeggios pinched with 4 fingers + thumb * Rasgueado (Flamenco Technique) * Generic Strumming * Fingerstyle Picking * Two-finger picking + Legato for fast melodies (eg a solo) -Play the metronome * exercises on click * practice on song riffs -Learn his favorite songs * without thinking about the difficulty, nothing is impossible with the right methodology -Improvise * choose ranges and positions * to place oneself rhythmically, to finish on the judicious notes -Theory of Harmony * Understand harmonization and its practice -Theory on the Melody -Theory of Rhythm

DJing courses (all genres of music possible) - USBTranslate this text using Google Translate.

DJing courses (all genres of music possible) - USBTranslate this text using Google Translate.

FRENCH I'm ENERVIU, a DJ and music curator based in Brussels. My sound ranges from UK club music like garage, bass, dub, and breaks to house, jazz, and funk selections. I play in various settings, from clubs to private events, and I also share my passion through videos about the history of musical genres. I offer a four-session introductory course to DJing, tailored to your level and tastes. My goal: to give you the basics to become independent behind the decks, develop your selection, and build a world that reflects your personality. Each session combines explanations, listening, and practical application. **Session 1 — Discover DJing and develop your listening skills** We will explore the role of the DJ and the different facets of their practice: club, radio, bar, or private event. We will discuss musical research, selection, and what gives a set its identity. Through listening, you will learn to recognize tempo, beats, measures, and musical phrases, as well as identify introductions, breaks, and repeats. These fundamentals will allow you to better understand the energy of a piece and the appropriate moments for a transition. *Objective: to acquire basic listening skills and begin making a personal selection.* **Session 2 — Understanding Turntables and the Mixing Console** We will discover the equipment and its essential controls: playback, cue, jog, tempo adjustment, faders, gain and equalization. You will learn how to use headphone pre-listening, adjust levels, and synchronize two tracks. We will cover beatmatching, both by ear and with available tools, to help you understand what you are doing and gain confidence. Objective: to get to grips with the equipment and perform your first sequences. **Session 3 — Preparing your music with Rekordbox** We will use Rekordbox to import your tracks, organize your library and create playlists tailored to your mixing preferences. You will learn to read waveforms, check the tempo and rhythmic grid, and then place useful cues using Memory Cues and Hot Cues. We will cover keys as a selection aid and prepare a USB drive compatible with the equipment used. Objective: to have an organized and ready-to-play selection. **Session 4 — Practicing and building your first mix** We will combine the acquired skills to link several pieces together: tempo matching, alignment of musical phrases and transitions using volumes and equalization. We'll also work on the progression of the set: creating an atmosphere, choosing the next track, gradually building energy, and letting the music breathe. You'll create a short mix that we'll listen to together to identify your strengths and areas for improvement. We will conclude with useful tips for a first performance: prepare your music, plan a backup and check the technical conditions of the venue. Objective: to create a first coherent mix and leave with exercises to continue progressing. Throughout the journey, we will start with the music you love to refine your listening skills, affirm your choices, and develop the pleasure of sharing it. **Session 5 — Preparing your first gigs and presenting your DJ project** We will explore the first steps to playing in public: contacting venues and programmers, sharing a relevant mix and clearly communicating your availability, rates and technical requirements. We'll cover the essential elements of a short biography, a press kit, and a technical rider. Drawing on my experience in clubs and at private events, we'll see how to adapt your offering to different contexts while staying true to your musical identity. Finally, we will build a personal action plan: skills to develop further, the next mix to record and venues to target for your first gigs. *Objective: to understand how bookings work and leave with concrete steps to develop your DJ project.* ENGLISH I'm ENERVIU, a DJ and music curator based in Brussels. Saxophone lessons with professional saxophonist for all levels, children or adults. English, Español, FrançaisTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Professional saxophonist eager to teach and work to bring out the best version of yourself! The lessons are intended for all levels, children or adults. We follow a working method where you will continuously and deeply develop your musicality, way of playing, expressiveness and technique. -------------------------------------------------- ---------------------- Raúl is a Spanish saxophonist who finished his DIDACTIC MASTER in 2018 at the École Supérieure des Arts in Mons. Previously, he also completed a MASTER OF INTERPRETATION at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (2015-2017) in the class of Alain Crepin and Simon Diricq. He studied at the "Musikene" (Higher Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country) with Eric Devallon, Tomás Jérez, Antonio Felipe Belijar and Miguel Ángel Lorente. Passionate about multidisciplinary artistic creation, he thinks of the mixing of all the arts in the same show as an aesthetic goal. This type of research could be observed in his project for his final master's recital in Brussels where he created a project based on Maslow's theory of the hierarchy of human needs where he mixed live, recorded music, dance, light shows and effects under the name: “according to Maslow... ” In terms of his career as a concert artist, he has played in different ensembles (solo performances, duo, trio, quartet, orchestra...) and different countries such as Japan (Artisanal Musical Fair "Suono Italia" 2010), Belgium (Festival Musiq3 2016), Artonov Festival at BOZAR in 2016...), France (Dax chamber music festival 2011) or Spain (Music Festival “Quincena Musical” 2015, Aste Nagusia 2015, Heineken Jazzaldia 2014, Festival Kutxa 2015, Intercentros Melómano 2010).

Drums lessons in FR-IT-EN with an experienced and qualified teacherTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Je donne cours en français - Description disponible en Français Do lezione in Italiano - Descrizione disponibile in Italiano ......................................................................................................................................................... The course method, inspired by the Agostini school (French method used in French and Belgian academies and conservatories) is divided between technique and drums. At the rate of one session each we will focus once on technique and movements outside the drums (on pads) and the other time on the drums and the application of technique and movements. -> The technique lessons and the movements will be those of the so-called 'Moeller technique' that I learned through his direct lineage of student. -> The drum lessons are greatly inspired by the pedagogy of the M.A.I. (Music Academy International - Nancy (fr)) and in particular that of Richard-Paul Morellini, renowned instructor. The courses are complete, in-depth but above all specifically thought of to be progressive. They are suitable for children from 7 years old as well as adults of all ages. => Particular attention is paid to the movements and their correct application, to the total independence of the limbs and finally to an understanding of the rhythm and its theory. My main goal is to give the student complete control behind the drums and skills to be able to self-learn any piece in any musical style. 1 hour of weekly lessons are never enough, they should only be used to fuel the passion that will make you play at home more and more. On demand or for advancs students: - I am very passionate about the study of South American rhythms. Due to their complexity, apart from the samba and Baïon ostinatos, they are not included in the program before the advanced level. They can be at the request of the student. - I am also specialized in metal (musical style) and double pedal. The latter is not included in the program unless requested by the student. The double pedal courses are based on the methodology of Virgil Donati. Technique: * Moeller technique (the 'whipping motion' - the Free stroke -Full/Half/Low stroke - accepting the rebound - its application etc.) * Snare rudiments and their applications through reading systems * Readings of scores and exercises for the snare drum * Speed drills * Military marches * Control of the different subdivisions (quarter notes - eighth notes - triplets - sixteenth notes - quintuplets - sextuplets - triple eighth notes - nonolets etc.) * Displacement of accents and polyrhythms * On request, double pedal technique (application of the Moeller to the double pedal as well as everything listed above but with the feet) Drums: * Bass drum reading and independance * Snare drum reading and independance * Applications of ghost notes * The 16 sixteenth-notes ostinatos * Jazz readings and independence * Binary and ternary readings * Coordination and movements of both feet * Dynamics on the instrument * Creation of fills and original drum grooves * On request, application of the double pedal * On request or for advanced students, readings and independence of South American rhythms (study and independence of the clave/Cascara/Mozambique etc.)

Cours de violoncelle pour tous! / Cello lessons for everyone! / ¡Clases de Cello para todos! / Cellolessen voor iedereen!Translate this text using Google Translate.

Hello to everyone! My name is María, I am a Venezuelan Cellist. All my musical education was inside the musical program "El Sistema" in Venezuela. This education was based on preparing myself as a better human being though playing cello in orchestras, chamber music and as soloist. I am current studying my Master degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel. In what consist my lessons? Cello classes for all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced), it does not matter if you have never played cello before or if you are already studying, the important thing is to help you achieve the goals you want with this beautiful instrument. To have better results with practice, if it is necessary to help you with music theory, I will help you. As well, if you're looking for help in orchestral excerpts for auditions, I'm here for you! For kids, parental support is also important during some lesson, we are all a team and we need to work together to achieve the goals! Classes can be in person at your house or mine (BRUSSELS, BELGIUM) or via videocall (Skype, Zoom, etc). The schedules are planned according to the time of the student and the teacher. Looking forward to meeting you and work together! Maria.

[ENGLISH, SEE BELOW] A music theory course for anyone who wants to start with a solid foundation in music, or for an already advanced musician who wants to go further. This course is also perfect for an academy or conservatory student who wishes to prepare for the music theory exam. Despite the fact that this is a so-called theoretical course, everything that is seen will first be worked on in a musical context and experienced by the student in order to be assimilated. The theoretical explanations will follow from it by itself. On the program (student's choice) - Ear training (knowing how to rewrite melodies with one or more voices, chords, etc.) - Note readings in one or more keys - Rhythm readings, polyrhythmic work - Encryption and recognition of agreements, - Transposition. This musical theory lesson suits to every level, from the one who wants to learn how to read music to the one who wants to know more about chords, transposition or polyrythms. This lesson is also perfect for a student who wants to prepare an examination. In despite the fact I called these lesson "Musical theory", it is firstly about understanding the music. And that can only be possible by ... doing music. So be aware that we will be singing, playing chords, clapping rhythms, ... My purpose is that the student understand by himself first, then the theory will come naturally. What we can do during a lesson (student can choose): - Ear training (Learn to catch a melody of one or several voices and write it down by ear, recognizing chords, recognizing rhythms, ...) - Rythmical work: learn to clap different rhythms in different time signatures. Also included polyrythms. - Key reading, in one or several keys. - Transposition (learn how to read a flute sheet while you're playing trumpet, ..)

Guitar and/or music theory lessons for all levels and agesTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Giovanna raised and formed in Florence, where she began her guitar studies at the age of five at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole. In September, she graduated cum laude and she's currently enrolled in the Master’s program at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, studying with Antigoni Goni. Winner of many international competitions, she performed plenty of times in Italy and in 2023 she has held a solo concert in Milan for the XXXVIII Società Umanitaria's concerts season. Next to renowned guitarists, such as Luigi Attademo and Giorgio Albiani, she performed the world premiere of Álvaro Company’s Concert Català for ten guitars, in the revision by Vincenzo Saldarelli. Alongside her performing activity, Giovanna has developed a strong dedication to teaching adults, children, and teenagers. She tailors each learning path to the individual student, carefully balancing personal interests with technical and artistic development, whether for amateur musicians or students preparing for conservatory admission. Her teaching approach places particular emphasis on physical awareness and well-being, guiding students toward healthy and efficient use of the body while playing. Music theory is fully integrated into her lessons and is always connected to practical application on the instrument.

“ Lou-Indigo is hands-down the best teacher I have ever had the pleasure of learning music from. Having been taught by a number of music teachers for a variety of different instruments, I have experienced a range of different teaching styles and personalities, yet nobody has been able to keep me focused and captivated by music in the way that Lou-Indigo does. In the past, music lessons would always bore me, as I found that my perspective of music being an outlet of creativity would often be tarnished by previous teachers who took too much of a strict, structural approach to music. On the other hand, some other teachers would be too relaxed, often leading to me becoming frustrated by a lack of progress and direction. Lou-Indigo manages to skillfully combine structure, creativity and a relaxed atmosphere into a 60-minute lesson. I am the complete opposite of bored and genuinely look forward to every lesson. Instead of feeling drained after sessions, I feel inspired to learn more. In my opinion, Lou-Indigo does this by crafting just the right amount of challenge into each exercise, enough to give you a sense of progress and achievement, but not too much to make you feel frustrated or overly daunted. Furthermore, his clear explanation of music theory and guitar techniques, evidently backed by years of experience, gives you a deeper insight into music, uncovering the medium's potential for creative expression. I could not recommend Lou-Indigo more. ”

“ Emidio is a fantastic saxophone teacher. He provides you with the feedback you need to learn many things at the same time: He gives you tips for a good embouchure and shows you how to blow a proper tone. He teaches you how to play in tune and introduces you to tone articulation on the saxophone, when you are ready for it. He guides your own practice efficiently, so you can be certain to not loose time. In addition, you learn to read notes and a lot about music in general. Emidio is a kind, patient, supportive and encouraging saxophone teacher, who is ready to reply to whatever question you throw at him. Emidio communicates well and is clear. His classes are fun, inspiring and intense. I will continue my musical journey with Emidio.I highly recommend Emidio as a saxophone teacher. With Emidio, you can be certain that you learn to play the saxophone in the best possible way. ”

“ Giorgos has continually shown in every class I've taken with him to have a very good rapport with students and great teaching competence, showing the ability to explain topics, questions and mistakes in a way that the student understands and learns from. He's supportive of the level of knowledge, goals and the different musical tastes of students, allowing the diversification of the topics and repertoire studied in class, thus creating an excellent learning environment. In short simply 10/10. Excellent professor! Definitely recommend him to those who want to learn or/and better their skills at the instrument. ”
