Ewa - Santa MarinellaC$96
Trusted teacher: Ciao, my name is Ewa Anna and as you can read in my biography I have been playing the violin for more than 30 years. I have more than 20 years of experience in teaching the violin to beginners, intermediate and advanced students of any age. I offer online /webcam violin classes for kids, teenagers, and adults of any level. You can choose between modern and baroque violin. So if you would like to get a new approach and a new point of view on how to study the instrument? Then this is the right place for you! What do you need is to have an instrument, a music stand, a good internet connection and one of the following programs to communicate online: SKYPE, ZOOM, MESSENGER, WHATSUP. Of course, I speak English but also Polish, German and Italian. In the future, you can think of joining my summer academy classes in Italy in Rome or close to Rome and this might also be a good opportunity for an interesting educational vacation in the country of history, art, and music. If you are a beginner, I will provide you with the info on how and where to buy the violin (all online) and if you have your own then it’s even better! I provide you with the scores and necessary materials for the study process! Twice a year I organize workshops in Rome (Italy) to meet you in person and study directly! You are most welcome to participate in these workshops. If there are more students in one country I can travel to your place and teach for a weekend workshop (few times a year) for the group of students at the same location. Once a year we organize a summer school in warm and beautiful Italy (Rome and surroundings) to study with you: violin solo program, chamber music, and Ear Training. The summer school finishes with the concert of all the students and teachers. Your questions are more than welcome. So feel free to write me with any info you might need. Ewa

Benoit - Le ChesnayC$79
Trusted teacher: Hello, my name is Benoit, I am a jazz & contemporary music guitarist and guitar teacher for more than 15 years in music schools, associations and at home. I studied Jazz at the Boulogne-Billancourt Conservatory and graduated from the American School Of Modern Music. I seek with my lessons to develop your desire to make music and your creativity. My courses and content will allow you to immerse yourself in an exciting practice. Pleasure and requirement are the keywords of my learning method. You will quickly be able to play a current, rich and varied repertoire. In addition to private lessons, I provide you with free videos, scores & tablatures. Who are the classes for? Children: From 7 years old, learning notes in a playful and progressive way. We explore music theory, tablatures, rhythm and melody thanks to card games specially developed for the youngest: recognition, 7 families, pair games, Memory, etc. Your child discovers the instrument and the technique while being able to quickly play familiar tunes! Classes usually last 30 minutes. Teen: The goal is not to spend too much time on the theoretical aspect of music theory (reading notes etc.) but to see the basic techniques of the instrument in order to be able to play and have fun quickly. From the first lessons you will play the pieces of your choice, I will guide you and accompany you. Pleasure and satisfaction guaranteed! Adults: Have you always dreamed of learning to play the guitar? You played when you were young and want to get back to it? Did the "conservatory" method disappoint you or does it not suit you? My approach and my experience will allow you to learn or deepen the instrument and your knowledge at your own pace thanks to a multitude of pieces, scores, playbacks and tutorials. This will help you to develop or perfect the essential techniques for playing the guitar and also to play a repertoire to your liking. Classes usually last 60 minutes. If you are self-employed or have flexible working hours during the day, I can come to your place of work. I can also give video lessons to coach you or if you are on the go. For what levels? Beginner: You quickly take the instrument in hand, I guide you to acquire in a few sessions the technical gestures and the basic notions in order to be autonomous with your guitar. Intermediate: You develop a repertoire in line with your tastes and desires. I advise you and challenge you to make you progress. Advanced: You improve your technique thanks to the study of statements of reference guitarists and different Jazz / Rock / Blues / Gypsy styles such as: John Scofield, Wes Montgomery, Peter Bernstein, George Benson, Django Reinhardt etc... Together we work on the writing and the balance of musical phrases, chord sequences, notions of tension and resolution, which will allow you to create your own music and refine your style. I advise you on the right software and musical software (writing/Sibelius, tabalture/Guitarpro, Recording/Ableton, creation/Reason etc...) How are the lessons going? Face to face, at your home, mine, or video, I adapt to your possibilities and your wishes. Those who wish to meet other musicians can join a group. I also organize courses (between 8 and 10 people) during school holidays, on various subjects: Deepening your repertoire, improvising with pentatonics, group games, picking techniques, etc. Do not hesitate to contact me if you want more information! Musically & see you soon! Benoît ♫

Trusted teacher: Graduate in Performing Arts from TAI University Graduate in Psychology with a Master’s in Music Therapy from UNED Specialized jazz studies at Berklee College of Music and Escuela de Música Creativa Studies in singing styles and vocal physiology at Nina Academia Vocal recovery training with LaxVox at Aurea Speech Therapy Clinic I have been studying opera and classical singing since the age of 12, as well as jazz, choral, and musical theater singing. I have been performing in musicals since 2015. These studies have given me a wealth of tools to adapt to what each student needs and wants, because the most important thing is that we never stop enjoying music. My classes are based on three core principles. The first is having a clear method, rooted in the real functioning of the voice—its physiology (what science tells us about how we use the body to sing)—and applicable to anyone, step by step, with logic. I always prioritize the student’s vocal health and rely on scientifically proven methods. I use simple language, without unnecessary technicalities, so everything is easy to understand and makes sense. The second is the emotional and psychological aspect. For me, connecting with the person in front of me is essential—understanding how they think, how they perceive themselves, what blocks them, and what motivates them. This way, I can adapt the classes to their personality and goals. I try to create a relaxed environment based on respect, trust, and a little humor, where everyone feels free and comfortable. We aren’t all born with the voice we wish we had, but we can all develop what we do have—and on that journey, singing becomes a way to know and accept yourself better. And the third is the dedication and professionalism with which I approach this work, which I am truly passionate about. All classes are divided into a warm-up and vocalization section, followed by work on a chosen piece suited to the student’s level and preferred style. Regardless of style or level, a foundation in classical singing will always be established.

Trusted teacher: It is never too late to start or resume learning piano! My teaching experience makes me a witness to this. Perhaps you came looking for piano lessons because you wish to be able to play some particular pieces, or to develop specific skills. Or maybe you don't know what your goal is yet, but are fond of the sound of the piano and want to dive into this wonderful instrument. Whatever the case, I am looking forward to hearing from you and discussing your next step! I try as much as possible to tailor the work with each individual student aiming at the goals set and the student's musical tastes. This becomes more the case the higher the student's level of experience. Nevertheless, beginners are also encouraged to suggest music for themselves to learn. The work on pieces is combined with other important activities designed to develop finger dexterity, hand coordination, rhythmic sense, music reading, playing by ear, etc. The Cortot, Hanon and scale exercises are some of my frequent choices for the technical work. For young beginners, I defend a no-book approach during the first 2 or 3 months, for three main reasons: it makes learning more fun, it unlocks our creative potential and it allows us to explore the instrument rather confidently and freely. Instead of learning how to read right from the start, students have the opportunity to play games, listen to music, sing, compose, and improvise over backing tracks, developing the core skills necessary for any musical activity later on. After this period, it is then time to introduce them to a method book. The one I recommend the most is Piano Safari. For teenage and adult beginners, the activities described above are selected and adjusted, and theory concepts may be introduced at an earlier stage. If desired, graded level series such as the RSL Classical or Contemporary Piano, among others, may be opted for. Please notice that my scheduling may not always be up to date on this website, so the best way to know my availability is sending me a message. Feel free to get in touch for any other questions as well! Looking forward to meeting you soon, Rodrigo

Ewa is an excellent violin teacher, I would highly recommend her to anyone who may wish to learn the violin. I have studied a number of musical instruments, first at High School, and then as an extra-mural during University with a variety of teachers. I decided to take up violin as an adult. Ewa is, by far, one of the best music teachers I have worked with. She is patient, and has been excellent in explaining the importance of fundamentals. While I may be an absolute beginner it is easy to see how the fundamentals being taught will assist when more complex repertoire is attempted. She is also phenomenal at identifying which aspects of playing need focus an attention. It is evident that Ewa is a consummate professional and her wealth of experience is an asset to anyone trying to learn this notoriously complex instrument. I can also say that there is no issue in working by way of an online learning platform.

Katherine was very patient for my first singing class ever :) She explained the theory and how the body works in terms of singing well but didn't make me feel overwhelmed with information. Her constructive feedback was helpful and made me want to improve more!
